Aldi’s Asian-inspired range returns on 30th July

Supermarket Aldi has announced the return of its pho-nomenal Asian-inspired range, landing in stores from 30th July. The range, packed with on-trend essentials for spice-packed meals and elevated snacking, comes as shopper appetite for Asian flavours continues to rise.

Fermented food lovers will be pleased to know Aldi’s Korean Style Kimchi (£1.99, 290g) is making a comeback. This gut-friendly superfood goes well with cheese toasties, fried eggs and even pancakes. Fresh and crunchy, tangy and slightly sweet, this Kimchi is bursting with savoury garlic and ginger flavours that delight the taste buds.

Ramen has been dubbed ‘Gen Z’s favourite soup’, with over 1.7 million #ramen videos on TikTok. So, those after a trending taste will love Aldi’s Vietnamese Pho & Japanese Style Ramen Kits (£2.25, 157g/200g). Both kits provide the perfect base for a soup-er tasty, restaurant-worthy meal in minutes.

Whether elevating a cucumber salad or creating the ultimate dipping sauce for gyoza, foodies can get their fix with Aldi’s cult-favourite Chilli Crisp (£2.69, 180g). A bold, flavour-packed chilli oil in a jar, it delivers a complex balance of crunch, umami richness and gentle to moderate heat, with aromatic notes of garlic, toasted spices and chillies. And with Google searches for chilli crisp up by 217% in the past two years, shoppers can enjoy Aldi’s affordable go-to option for this cupboard staple.

For snack fans, the fan-favourite Asian Hand Cooked Crisps (£1.15, 150g) will also make their highly anticipated return to shelves, in mouth-watering Crispy Duck and Teriyaki Beef flavours. The satisfying crunchy texture paired with delicious sweet and salty umami flavours will transport tastebuds overseas.

Aldi’s full Taste of Asia food range includes:

  • Asian Dressings (£1.89, 300g)
  • Asian Recipe Mixes (59p, 35g)
  • Thai Pastes (£1.49, 180g)
  • Ready to Heat Chinese Inspired Rice (75p, 250g)
  • Snackrite Prawn Crackers (99p, 100g)
  • Toppo Sticks (79p, 40g)
  • Herb Puree Tubes (85p, 70g/75g)
  • Blue Dragon Fish Sauce (£1.49, 150ml)
  • Blue Dragon White Rice Vinegar (£1.49, 150ml)
  • Panko/Tempura Batter Mix (£1.19, 140g/128g)
  • Specially Selected Soy Sauce (£1.49, 150ml)
  • Specially Selected Japanese Stir Fry (£1.49, 200g)
  • Hello Panda Biscuits (£1.25, 4x21g)
  • Ready to Wok Noodles (85p, 2x150g)
  • Noodle Bowls Mixed (99p, 85g)
  • Kewpie Mayonnaise (£4.99, 355ml)
  • Chinese Lanterns & Salt and Pepper Chipsticks (£1.35, 125g)

Aldi’s Taste of Asia range lands in stores from 30th July. But shoppers will need to be quick, as with all Aldi Specialbuys, once they’re gone, they’re gone!
