SoBe Burger gears up for biggest month of expansion yet with five new September openings

SoBe Burger is gearing up for a major month of expansion with five new sites in September. SoBe Burger opened its latest site in Worcester on Thursday 3rd September, which will be followed shortly after by Portsmouth on Thursday 10th September, Kingston on Wednesday 16th September, and Loughton and Brighton later in the month.

The flurry of openings is the latest stage of a rapid and ambitious nationwide rollout, which includes recent openings in Leamington Spa and Swindon. Offering free burgers on launch day, live DJs, discounts and more, the new sites have all been met with queues and excitement from local communities. The expansion of the brand’s physical presence comes alongside the 229 delivery sites already operating across the UK, ensuring consumers nationwide can access the coveted burger brand – in-store or via delivery.

The expansion has been strategically led by Sessions, the growth platform that began working with SoBe Burger in 2021. Using proprietary AI-powered delivery data and a phased rollout model, Sessions identifies the strongest locations for physical sites, enabling brands to scale rapidly while maintaining operational and brand consistency. Reflecting on the company’s growth strategy, Sessions founder Dan Warne has said SoBe Burger is expected to reach around 80 quick-service restaurants by the end of 2027.

Sessions’s proposition is succinctly stated as ‘turning much-loved food brands into national franchises’, and SoBe Burger’s growth is a clear example of that mission being successfully realised. Dreamed up by school friends Tom and Alex and inspired by a trip to downtown Miami, the food brand became notorious for its indulgent smash burgers, loaded fries and saucy wings. By partnering with Sessions, it was able to capitalise on that momentum, evolving with security from a delivery-first concept into a fast-growing quick-service operator with a growing bricks-and-mortar presence.

The strategic growth we’re seeing in action, a model that relies on the proprietary AI systems pioneered by Sessions, demonstrates a new approach to restaurant scaling that combines delivery data, phased rollouts and physical expansion. At a time when the hospitality sector continues to face significant challenges, what Sessions offers to food brands is truly an innovative path to sustainable growth in the digital age.

With Worcester, Portsmouth, Kingston, Loughton and Brighton opening in quick succession this September, SoBe Burger is demonstrating the pace of its expansion, made possible by the Sessions platform. Together, they’re setting the foundations for continued growth across the UK and pioneering a new, data-led model for scaling restaurant brands at pace.

Speaking on the roll-out, SoBe Burger founders Tom and Alex said: “Reaching so many sites in quick succession feels like such a milestone for us as a brand. It’s amazing to see how quickly we have grown since we first started in 2018, and a lot of that has been propelled by working with Sessions. September is going to be a very busy and very exciting month for us as a brand as we look to further our expansion.”

Chris Cowdry, the SoBe Burger Worcester partner added: “After a year in the making, I’m incredibly excited to open SoBe Burger Worcester. It’s been a long journey to get here, and it’s fantastic to see all the hard work come together. The Sessions team have been great to work with throughout the process, and we can’t wait to welcome the people of Worcester through the doors and introduce them to SoBe Burger.”

Dan Warne, founder of Sessions, comments:  ‘It’s really exciting to see our model working so smoothly. We’re proud that SoBe Burger is the UK’s fastest-growing burger franchise, and it really showcases what Sessions is all about – giving material scale, rapidly, to the brands consumers want’
