Castlepoint is set to welcome leading beauty retailer, Space NK to its evolving line-up with the brand confirmed to open a 2,425 sq. ft store (trading space) at the leading retail destination.
Since launching in 1990, Space NK has grown significantly, with an impressive online following and major UK expansion responding to the increase in consumer demand for premium beauty products. Stocking an edit of the worlds most in demand makeup and skincare brands including Diptyque, Nars and new brands that are exclusive to Space NK such as Cécred and Touchland, the new store expands the existing beauty line-up at Castlepoint.
The letting follows the recent announcement that Woods Furniture is set to join the leading South Coast destination as Castlepoint’s first dedicated furniture brand. This strong leasing activity is testament to Columbia Threadneedle Investments and Delancey’s proactive asset management strategy, which has established a leading retail experience, meeting consumer demand for big name brands.
A spokesperson on behalf of the joint venture owners of Castlepoint commented: “It’s fantastic to be welcoming Space NK to the line up at Castlepoint. There has been a significant increase in consumer demand for premium beauty brands, and we’re pleased to be meeting this demand with the arrival of Space NK. This letting is a key part of our proactive asset management strategy which aims to diversify our tenant mix and meet demand from our customers for recognisable, big-name brands”.
Tiff Ruis, senior VP of retail and e-commerce at Space NK, added: “Bournemouth is an important market for Space NK, and we’re delighted to be investing in our future here. Our move to Castlepoint represents an exciting opportunity to elevate the beauty shopping experience, bringing customers a larger, more inspiring space to discover the brands they love, explore new favourites and connect with our expert Beauty teams. We look forward to welcoming both loyal and new customers into a store designed to make beauty discovery even more exciting, personal and accessible.”
