Aagrah Foods Butter Chicken As the world food category continues to grow, reflecting increased consumer demand for innovation, authenticity and convenience, Aagrah Foods has announced that its recently launched award-winning Butter Chicken Cooking Tarka Paste has been listed in 280 Morrisons stores across the UK.  It goes live in-store from today (Monday 18 May).

The listing comes as the UK ambient cooking sauce category, valued at over £1billion, continues to expand, driven by a rising interest in world cuisine and premium at-home dining. The vegan-friendly cooking sauce, a smooth, creamy tomato base with a balance of aromatic spices and subtle sweetness, delivers an authentic yet quick and easy, restaurant-quality meal which can be prepared at home in minutes.

“The cooking sauce category is very buoyant at the moment, reflecting the strong consumer appetite for authentic, premium quality ingredients that deliver both convenience and credibility,” commented Shezad Aslam, managing director of Aagrah Foods.  “We’re delighted that Morrisons continues to respond to this demand by expanding its world food offering and making it easier than ever for consumers to embark on their own taste adventures.”

Aagrah Foods Butter Chicken; RRP £3.30, 270g.
