Accenture Song and Prada have developed a new plugin in ChatGPT to explore how agentic commerce can create new customer experiences, with support from DaVinci Commerce.

Available in the US, UK and Italy, the plugin enables users to explore Prada collections, discover products and access store information grounded in Prada’s brand sources through conversations in ChatGPT. The initiative is designed to expand access to the Prada universe, enhance product discoverability, and explore new forms of engagement in emerging digital touchpoints .

A first-of-its-kind experience for a luxury fashion house, Prada’s ChatGPT plugin marks a step toward a more diversified approach to digital engagement for brands as consumer journeys shift to new touchpoints and conversational experiences.

Shaping a new luxury experience

The ChatGPT plugin builds on Accenture Song’s longstanding work with Prada to advance the fashion house’s digital transformation and explore new forms of customer engagement through agentic commerce.

“Conversational experiences represent a natural evolution of traditional e-commerce,” commented Laura Campanella, Prada Group Digital Director. “Through this pilot initiative, we are exploring a new territory for customer engagement that enriches the brand’s digital ecosystem. By reimagining how audiences discover and interact with the brand, we can create new opportunities for dialogue and engagement.”

“The next-generation touchpoints are creating a new front door for product discovery,” said Alessandro Diana, lead for Italy and Greece at Accenture Song. “At the same time, luxury is increasingly defined by the quality and consistency of every interaction. With Prada, we are exploring how trusted brand content can meet consumers at the moment of intent and turn emerging channels into meaningful opportunities for engagement.”
