AldiThis Mother’s Day (Sunday 15th March), Aldi is giving one lucky winner the chance to celebrate their mum or motherly figure with a year’s supply of flowers.

In partnership with JZ Flowers, a family-run British business based in Newport, and one of Aldi’s longest-standing partners since 1990, the winner will receive a seasonal bouquet of flowers for each month of the year.

To enter, customers simply need to share a short explanation of why their mum or motherly figure deserves to win, along with the name of their nearest Aldi store, by emailing MothersDay@Aldi.co.uk.

The competition runs from today until Friday 10th April. For full terms and conditions, visit www.aldipresscentre.co.uk/terms-and-conditions-for-aldis-mothers-day-flowers-competition-the-competition-2/

The giveaway follows the success of last year’s competition, which saw Betty Day, a mum from Hull, win a year’s worth of flowers, with a beautiful seasonal bouquet delivered to her door each month.

Julie Ashfield, chief commercial officer at Aldi, said: “Our Mother’s Day competition proved incredibly popular last year, and we’re excited to bring it back to celebrate another special mother figure. We’re always looking for meaningful ways to give back to our customers, and this giveaway offers a thoughtful way to mark the occasion.

“By working with our long-standing British supplier, JZ Flowers, we’re able to offer beautiful, high-quality bouquets that help customers celebrate their loved ones not just on Mother’s Day, but throughout the year.”

Tessa Zwemstra Stott, Managing Director at JZ Flowers, added: “We’re proud to have worked with Aldi for more than 30 years, and Mother’s Day remains one of the most important moments in the floral calendar. Supplying a bouquet each month for a full year is a wonderful way to showcase the quality and care that goes into every arrangement prepared by our team in Newport.

“With everything from vibrant arrangements to elegant blush pink bouquets and seasonal stems, there’s something to suit every style this Mother’s Day.”

This year, Aldi expects to sell almost two million bouquets during the week leading up to Mother’s Day. This includes favourites such as the Best Mum Bouquet (£4.99) and Lovely Mum Tulips (£4.99), as well as over 360,000 Specially Selected bouquets., including the Tropical Beauty Bouquet (£12.99).

This year’s designs celebrate the colours of spring, from cheerful germini and sunflowers to seasonal alliums and colourful chrysanthemums. Customers are also increasingly choosing seasonal stems, including tulips and daffodils, to brighten tables this Mother’s Day and beyond.
