Baileys Chocolate Sauce set for sweet spot in Aldi’s festive range

Baileys Chocolate SauceSpecialist innovator in branded flavour development, The Flava People, has again collaborated with Diageo on the launch of an alcohol-free Baileys Chocolate Sauce, which will launch into Aldi stores nationwide in December for the festive season.

Following the success of its Baileys Caramel Sauce, which launched in Iceland in May this year, the new chocolate variant brings the indulgent taste of Baileys Irish Cream into a rich, velvety chocolate format, perfect for festive desserts, hot drinks, ice cream and indulgent alcoholic tipples.

With consumers increasingly drawn to well-known brands in their food purchases, this latest product taps into the strong market affinity for Baileys as both a flavour and a brand, reinforcing category expansion within desserts and toppings and leveraging the ongoing growth of the premium indulgence sector within UK grocery retail.

Packaged in a versatile squeezy bottle, Baileys Chocolate Sauce is designed to elevate everyday moments with a premium twist, and the sauce offers consumers a new way to enjoy the iconic Baileys flavour, without the alcohol.

“We’ve seen an incredible appetite for branded indulgence in grocery and Baileys continues to resonate across multiple categories,” comments Scott Dixon, Managing Director of The Flava People. “This new chocolate sauce builds on the momentum of our caramel launch earlier this year and taps into the seasonal demand for elevated dessert experiences. It’s a brilliant example of how strategic brand collaborations can unlock new occasions and drive category growth.”

The launch reinforces The Flava People’s commitment to delivering high impact, differentiated innovation in partnership with leading global brands. With the rise of premiumisation in home cooking and gifting during the festive season, Baileys Chocolate Sauce is well-positioned to become a seasonal favourite.

Available in Aldi from December (RRP £2, 200ml) and in discount retailer B&M.
