Benefit presents Rainbrows Season 5

BenefitRainbrows returns! This season reinforces our support in spotlighting the diverse communities represented in the LGBTQIA+ Progress Flag. Building on the success of previous years, Rainbrows Season 5 encourages individuals to write a personal letter to their younger selves, highlighting what makes them proud.

Benefit Cosmetics in partnership with Ryan Lanji, Executive Producer & Creative Director of the Rainbrows campaign, supports a QTBIPOC-led campaign that empowers and amplifies queer community voices, inspiring new connections through authentic experiences. Rainbrows Season 5 celebrates the meaning of Pride. At Benefit Cosmetics, we believe that beauty is for all, and we are proud to support LGBTQIA+ communities. This year, the cast share their stories, writing letters to themselves expressing gratitude and pride in their journeys, and reflecting on their personal growth. These letters will be stored and delivered to the cast one year from today, after London Pride.

Celebrating Rainbrows Season 5, on Saturday, July 5th, from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM, Benefit will host an open space at our flagship boutique in Carnaby Street, London. Offering a welcoming space for our customers and community to gather and prepare for Pride, guests can participate by writing their own letters at our letter-writing station, to be opened in one year.

“We’re delighted to present Rainbrows Season 5, a project beautifully realised through the deeply personal reflections of our ambassadors and team. This season builds on the enriching power of lived experience, showcasing their heartfelt letters to their younger selves and sharing their stories with our community. We’re immensely proud to launch Rainbrows Season 5, celebrating with our ambassadors and inviting our wider community to join us at our flagship Boutique in Carnaby Street, London. This London Pride, we hope our customers and community will be inspired to write their own letters, share their experiences, and connect with others through the Rainbrows campaign,” said Lucinda Jupp, marketing director, Benefit Cosmetics, UK and Ireland.

“Season 5 of Rainbrows has been deeply personal, a project born from my own need to reflect, to root, and to reconnect. Before we can stand for others, we have to stand with ourselves—to take stock of who we are and what pride truly means to us. This work began as something close to my heart, but my hope is to expand it, to grow Rainbrows into something that holds space for everyone, because real pride starts within and radiates outward,” said Ryan Lanji, executive producer.
