Black Sheep CoffeeBlack Sheep Coffee has hit a major milestone in its UK journey: every Scottish territory is now fully allocated to franchise partners following the recent commitment by MDM Group Enterprises Ltd to open 10+ new Black Sheep Coffee stores in North Scotland.
Led by experienced operator David Moore, who brings deep operational expertise from his time at Costa Coffee and KFC, MDM Group Enterprises has decided to leave the herd behind and bring Robusta Revival espresso beans, Norwegian Waffles, and Black Sheep’s new extensive range of matcha to Angus, Perth & Kinross, Fife, Clackmannanshire, Aberdeenshire, Moray, and the Highlands.
Their first move will breathe new life into Union Street, Aberdeen, with a new Black Sheep Coffee store opening this summer. Each new store is expected to create around 10 jobs locally, with Black Sheep Coffee doubling its Scottish footprint over the next 5 years. The new stores will be independently owned and operated, but come with all the signature brews and buzzing energy that Black Sheep Coffee is known for.
Renowned for unapologetically bold flavours and an unrivalled commitment to quality, Black Sheep Coffee are innovators in the space – by sourcing the first speciality-grade 100% Robusta coffee, they went against the market trends and became the ‘Black Sheep’ of the coffee world. The coffee shop group recently launched a brand-new lemonade category, with both classic and matcha-spiked options in flavour-packed combos like Lychee, Lavender, Passionfruit, and Peach.
