Black Sheep Coffee expands into Hertfordshire with nine-site deal

Black Sheep Coffee is proud to announce that they have just signed a minimum 9-store development agreement covering the county of Hertfordshire.

The territory has been awarded to Virutthasalam Prabhakaran, known as “Prabha”, an existing Black Sheep Coffee franchisee with multiple stores across London, who has committed to extending this partnership further into a county with huge potential.

The stores will be a mix of locations and formats, covering the county of Hertfordshire and complementing the existing Black Sheep Coffee site in St Albans. With its mix of bustling commuter towns and thriving high streets, Hertfordshire offers the ideal backdrop for Black Sheep Coffee’s continued growth beyond the capital.

The expansion will bring the brand’s distinctive Robusta coffee and bold energy to new audiences across the region, strengthening its position across the South East and responding to growing consumer demand for quality coffee experiences closer to home.

This latest agreement builds on the brand’s continued momentum and growth through a scalable franchise model that empowers experienced operators to bring better coffee to more people.

Izzy Childs, EMEA growth director, commented:  “Prabha has already proven to be an exceptional partner, and we’re excited to see this next chapter unfold. Hertfordshire represents a fantastic opportunity for Black Sheep Coffee to continue its mission of shaking up the high street with quality coffee and standout store experiences.”
