Black Sheep Coffee is opening its first Lancaster location on 30th June 2026, bringing its signature coffee experience to the heart of the city’s bustling high street.
Located in Lancaster town centre within a former Burger King unit, the new store occupies a prime position amongst the city’s mix of independent retailers, national brands and everyday amenities. Situated at the centre of Lancaster’s retail offering, the site is set to welcome a broad range of customers, from local residents and shoppers to university students and visitors travelling into the city.
Designed as an all-day destination, the store will feature Black Sheep Coffee’s distinctive interiors and energetic atmosphere, creating a versatile space suited to everything from quick coffee stops and takeaway lunches to study sessions and catch-ups with friends.
The Lancaster opening marks the first Black Sheep Coffee site for franchisee YZS2 Ltd, led by Yasin Naviya and partners. The launch also represents the beginning of an ambitious new chapter for the partnership, with a development agreement in place to open 11 Black Sheep Coffee stores across Lancashire over the next five years.
The Lancaster store will serve the full Black Sheep Coffee menu, including 100% specialty-grade Robusta coffee, ceremonial-grade matcha, freshly made Norwegian waffles, all-day breakfast and premium bakery items.
Yasin Naviya commented on the launch: “We’re incredibly proud to be bringing Black Sheep Coffee to the city. Lancaster has such a diverse customer base, from local families and professionals to its thriving student population, and we believe the brand is a fantastic fit. This is just the beginning of our journey with Black Sheep Coffee, and we’re excited to invest in Lancashire over the coming years.”
