Burger King® UK is launching the ‘Burger Buddies Drive Thru’, replacing the menu with just one order which does it all: the Burger Buddies 3-piece box.

Burger King® UK is tackling the nation’s decision fatigue with the launch of the UK’s first ‘Decision-Free Drive-Thru’ – with just one thing on the menu, for customers who want it all without having to choose: the Burger Buddies 3-piece box, which features smaller, snackable versions of three of its most iconic burgers: the Whopper®, Big King® and BBQ Steakhouse.

The Decision-Free Drive-Thru comes as new research reveals that over a third (36%) of Brits regularly experience decision fatigue – with deciding what to eat cited as the biggest cause (45%).  In fact, the average Brit spends 24 minutes per day deciding what to eat – amounting to a whopping 144 hours (the equivalent of 6 full days).

Deciding what to eat ranked as the number one choice dilemma for 33% of Brits, alongside deciding what to watch on TV (33%), followed by what to do at the weekend (22%) andwhat to wear (19%). Over 35% admitted to spending longer deciding what to eat than actually eating, and for some Brits the choice is so tricky that over half (55%) would even prefer someone else choose for them, with 51% saying they simply cannot choose between multiple options.

Burger King® UK is saving the day by giving hungry Brits what they want, all at once. No browsing menus, no weighing up options, no second guessing – the Burger Buddies 3-piece box offers the variety without the dilemma of choosing between your flame-grilled favourites.

The research also showed that families are often hit hardest when it comes to decision fatigue when ordering food, with 69% of parents citing food choices as the biggest cause – with over a third (34%) of families spending the most time trying to decide what to eat. Fortunately for them, Burger King® UK has the answer. Alongside the 3-piece option, Burger Buddies are also available in a 9-piece box, offering all the variety without having to choose multiple options for all.

In celebration of National Burger Day on Thursday 27th August, Burger King® UK is giving burger lovers the ultimate excuse to go decision-free. For one day only, the drive-thru at Burger King’s Merton restaurant will feature just one item which covers all bases, the Burger Buddies 3-piece box*. Customers will be asked if they would like to go decision free and opt for the Burger Buddies 3-piece box, so they can head straight to the collection window and pick up their box – making National Burger Day all about celebrating the three iconic snackable burgers without the need to choose.

The Burger Buddies 3-piece and 9-piece boxes are also available in restaurants, click and collect and on delivery across the UK.
