CELSIUS® brings the energy to new students with a series of engaging university activations this month

CELSIUS®, the functional energy drink brand born in fitness and designed for active lifestyles, has hit the road this month for Freshers’ Week bringing CELSIUS to some of England’s biggest universities.

The tour is taking CELSIUS on the road for four Freshers’ and Welcome Week events across London, Birmingham, Bath and Loughborough, spanning six days of activity. It kicked off in London on Saturday 19th September before heading to Birmingham, Bath and Loughborough. The tour combines interactive fitness-inspired challenges, product sampling and prizes with experiences designed to get students moving, competing and connecting with friends.

At the centre of the activation is a football challenge with students invited to put their free-kick accuracy to the test for a chance to win prizes.

The CELSIUS experience will also feature a fast-feet challenge, where students will race against the clock to hit as many sensors as possible. A live leaderboard will encourage students to take on their friends. Alongside the challenges, students can sample their favourite flavours from the CELSIUS truck – a mobile activation designed to bring the brand’s LIVE.FIT.GO™ platform to sporting, fitness and lifestyle events around England

CELSIUS will visit:

  • Saturday 19 September – Freshers’ Fair, London
  • Monday 21 and Tuesday 22 September – University of Birmingham Welcome Week
  • Friday 25 September – University of Bath Freshers’ Fair
  • Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September – Loughborough University Freshers’ Fair

Carlotta Cattelani, Head of Marketing – UK&I, Celsius, said: “University is a place when people meet new friends, try new activities, and find new communities they want to be a part of, so naturally Freshers’ Week events are a perfect fit for CELSIUS. We want students to come along, grab a CELSIUS, put their skills to the test, and challenge their friends. It’s about kicking off the new academic year with an energy that makes the most of the opportunities in front of you.”

The Freshers’ Week tour builds on growing momentum for CELSIUS in England after engaging summer activations with partners ATHX Games and the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Team.

CELSIUS is available in four fruit-forward flavours – Sparkling Raspberry Peach, Sparkling Mango Lemonade, Sparkling Strawberry Watermelon, and Sparkling Kiwi Guava.
