Dessert with benefits – functional skillets from Doughlicious enter UK retail for first time

Doughlicious Doughlicious®, the award-winning London-based cookie dough brand known for its indulgent but better-for-you cookie dough innovations, is heating things up in the chilled aisle with the national launch of its brand-new Cookie Dough Skillet range, from WC 13th October at Whole Foods Market stores across the UK. Crafted to deliver the comfort of a warm, gooey cookie straight from the oven, without any of the hassle, the Doughlicious Cookie Dough Skillet is taking indulgence into new territory with the launch of its Baked Cookie Dough Skillet range (RRP £5.50), headlined by a first-of-its-kind Chocolate Chip & Banana Chunky Oat Skillet with Plant-Based Collagen Support.
Like all Doughlicious products, the Skillet Cookie collection is made with clean, premium ingredients and is gluten-free, offering a better-for-you twist on a classic treat. Each skillet is designed for effortless at-home enjoyment (especially during spooning season) – simply heat and serve for a decadent dessert experience that’s perfect for sharing (or not).
By introducing skillets to UK retail for the first time, Doughlicious is tapping into consumer appetite for experiential desserts and delivering a familiar US dining format in a convenient, ready-to-bake format. The addition of a functional “beauty from within” benefit further aligns with the growing demand for products that blur the line between indulgence and wellbeing.
The Chocolate Chip & Banana Chunky Oat Baked Cookie Dough Skillet has added benefits with a plant-based blend of vitamins, minerals and bamboo extract that helps the body’s natural collagen production. Collagen is increasingly recognised in the beauty and wellness space for its role in skin, hair and nail health – positioning the launch at the intersection of indulgence and functional food.
The range also includes a Chocolate Chip Baked Cookie Dough Skillet, a gooey cookie pairing with a golden crumble topping designed for sharing. Both skillets are gluten-free, made with clean, premium ingredients and can be enjoyed chilled or baked in minutes, offering an accessible route to a well-loved American dessert trend.
