Opening this Friday 16th October, the new 1,000sq ft store adds a distinctive new dimension to Eldon Square’s retail offer. With a committed following built across social media and a product range that resonates strongly with younger consumers, POP MART brings an exciting new reason to visit the city centre destination.

The opening reflects Eldon Square’s continued focus on attracting brands that are shaping consumer culture, bringing the online excitement around POP MART’s globally loved characters and collectibles into a physical retail experience for visitors across the North East.

Bernice Nesham, Director of Asset Management at Pradera, said: “POP MART’s decision to open its first Newcastle store at Eldon Square is a significant addition to the centre’s evolving retail offer. The brand has built an exceptionally engaged global following, and its arrival further strengthens our ability to connect with younger consumers and digitally engaged audiences. We look forward to welcoming the brand’s immersive store experience to our evolving lineup of brands.”

Ian Ashton, POP MART’s head of retail, UK & Ireland, commented: “Opening in Newcastle marks another exciting milestone in POP MART’s continued growth across the UK.
