Evri and Vinted expand partnership as pre-loved shopping boom delivers volume boost

Evri and Vinted Evri, one of the UK’s largest dedicated parcel delivery companies, has expanded its long-term partnership with Vinted, the leading second-hand fashion marketplace in Europe and a go-to destination for all kinds of second-hand items, following a period of significant volume growth for both businesses.

Evri has been a key delivery partner for the Vinted marketplace since 2018, during which time both organisations have experienced remarkable growth, with parcel delivery volumes increasing by millions per year. This follows data released in Evri’s inaugural UK Ecommerce Pulse report, which in 2024 revealed that nearly 30 million UK adults shopped online for pre-loved items.

Signalling ongoing growth for Vinted, Evri and Vinted have signed a further 4-year contract. This extended partnership will see Vinted customers benefit from Evri’s growing network of ParcelShop and best-in-class dedicated locker locations, as the Evri business grows rapidly towards becoming the UK’s Premier Parcel Delivery Company with plans to deliver over 1 billion parcels and a further 1 billion business letters annually.

Evri and Vinted’s extension of their partnership follows three key strategic announcements by Evri: the proposed merger with DHL UK eCommerce, the acquisition of Coll-8, Ireland’s leading independent customs clearance and logistics specialist to supercharge its international capability and the launch of Evri’s new locker strategy which will see Evri invest £50 million in continuing to grow the largest network of ParcelShops and Lockers by 2030 – more than doubling its presence to 25,000 locations.

Over the summer, Evri will also become the first UK carrier to trial Vinted’s reusable packaging across a number of select locations in Evri’s ParcelShop network. At these trial locations, Vinted users can benefit from the convenience of picking up Vinted reusable packaging when dropping off items in select Evri ParcelShops.

David Saenz, chief commercial officer for Evri, said: “We’ve been proud to partner with Vinted during what has been a transformative period of growth in pre-loved and ecommerce for both of our businesses.

“As we embark on the next chapter of our partnership, we are pleased to continue to grow together with customers of Vinted benefiting from access to what we expect will become the UK’s largest network of ParcelShops and Lockers.

“Following an investment of £50 million over the next five years, we will grow our ParcelShop and locker presence to 25,000 locations by 2030. Our two businesses are perfectly placed to grow together as the pre-loved boom continues to drive increased demand for Vinted.”

Vytautas Atkoičaitis, vice president of Vinted Go, said: “At Vinted, we want our members to benefit from the most convenient and efficient shipping options.

“Expanding our partnership with Evri ensures that our UK members can continue to use its growing delivery network and its exciting new locker proposition, making it even easier to buy and sell second-hand items.”
