Flavour Bombs, Dragons’ Den TikTok food brand, sees sell-out and 3,600% sales surge

Flavour BombsFlavour Bombs, the viral “bath bomb for your saucepan”, has seen sales skyrocket by an astonishing 3,600% in the week following its appearance on BBC One’s Dragons’ Den – selling out of its entire product range and placing all stock on pre-order within days of the episode airing.

The TikTok-famous food brand, founded by married couple Tina Faghihi-Hallam and Olly Hallam, completely sold out of its entire range within days of the episode airing – despite preparing heavily for the so-called “Dragon’s Den effect”.

In the seven days following the broadcast:

  • Sales jumped by 3,600%
  • 87,000 people visited the website (up from just 1,500 the week before)
  • 5,649 brand-new customers placed orders
  • Two Flavour Bombs were sold every minute
Every product sold out, with all flavours now on pre-order.
“We were ready for a boost, but not for this,” said Tina. “We’ve gone from packing orders at our kitchen table to selling two Flavour Bombs a minute. It’s been surreal.”
Flavour Bombs are ready-to-use flavour bases shaped like bath bombs that melt into sauces, curries and global dishes – meaning no half-used herbs, forgotten spices or complicated recipes. Customers simply drop one into their pan to create authentic, chef-approved meals in minutes.

From £300 launch to national sell-out

The couple secured a £50,000 investment from Peter Jones during the episode after impressing the Dragons with both their food and their ambition. The brand originally launched with just £300 and a viral TikTok video that generated hundreds of early orders.

During the episode, Gary Neville expressed: “That tastes REALLY good. That’s the most important thing, when creating a food product – does it actually taste good? And it DOES!”

Peter also told the pair during the episode, “Without a doubt it passes the taste test. It’s really, REALLY good… I think it could be big, if you get this right.”

The public response suggests he may be right.

Flavour Bombs has more than doubled revenue year-on-year, growing from £105,000 turnover last year to £287,000 to date this year – with the Dragons’ Den boost expected to push that even higher.

The brand is now accelerating expansion plans, with launches confirmed in Selfridges this spring and on Ocado in March. The founders are also targeting major supermarkets including Waitrose and expanding into Ireland, with longer-term plans to take the brand global.

“Our ambition is to build a double-digit million-pound brand,” said Tina. “This week has proven the demand is there.”
