With the big day just over 100 days away, Britain’s toy shop, The Entertainer, has revealed its top 10 toy predictions for this Christmas.

Handpicked by the UK’s largest toy retailer’s expert team, the top 10 brings together a mix of much-loved household names, exciting new launches, and exclusive lines, showcasing the breadth of toys, games, and collectables to play with at The Entertainer.

The list encompasses a range of toys within a number of trending categories including nostalgic comebacks, interactive toys, viral sensations, and toys that stand the test of time.

From LEGO and iconic construction Meccano sets designed for older builders, to character favourites from Peppa Pig to Pikachu, plus viral sensations such as Clickeez – the list spans all age-groups, interests and budgets.

Old favourites with new appeal

Nostalgia is making its way onto Christmas lists for all ages, with classic brands and collectibles giving grown-ups plenty of reasons to get involved in play too.

Meccano Pro Limited Edition Aston Martin Aramco Formula 1 Construction Set

New for 2026, this 1:8 scale Aston Martin Formula One construction set combines the classic appeal of Meccano with the huge popularity of F1. Featuring 1,203 real metal parts, two real tools, and up to 15 hours of building time, it’s a Christmas project designed to appeal to older builders and F1 fans alike.

Pokémon Battle Action Pikachu

As Pokémon celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2026, childhood favourite Pikachu is set to feature on Christmas lists once again. Collect, build, and play

Collecting is no longer just about keeping toys in a box – with the latest products designed to be built, displayed, and enjoyed long after Christmas morning.

LEGO Botanicals Rocking Plants Construction Set

LEGO continues to blur the lines between play and home décor, with this charming Botanicals set allowing builders to create two pastel-coloured plant models – a delosperma named Lumi and an echeveria named Ellie. Once built, the plants can be displayed as colourful décor, making this a Christmas gift that’s designed to be enjoyed long after the building is finished.

When toys come to life

From learning to ride a bike to caring for a new pet, interactive toys are giving children new ways to play, with characters that respond to touch, movement, and care.

Peppa Pig Ready, Pedal, Go Peppa Bike

A new toy for this year, little ones can help Peppa learn to ride her bike by attaching her push stick and guiding her along. With over 75 sounds and phrases, Peppa responds as children play; bringing a familiar character and a real-life milestone together in one charming interactive (and encouraging) toy.

From TikTok to toy box

From satisfying sounds to viral sensations, social media is helping turn unexpected products into Christmas must-haves, with trends moving from screens to school playgrounds at speed.

Clickeez Bubble Pops Keyboard Mega Mystery Figure Pack

For kids in their ASMR era, satisfying sounds are at the heart of this collectible sensory toy, with each Clickeez designed to click and clack like a real keyboard. Having racked up more than 60 million views across TikTok and Instagram last year, and with the keyboards already selling out ahead of Christmas, Clickeez shows just how quickly a viral sensation can make the leap from social media to the school playground.

Classic play never goes out of style

While trends come and go, classic toys continue to earn their place on Christmas lists, with traditional imaginative play proving that some favourites never go out of style.

Early Learning Centre Wooden Kitchen

A modern take on a timeless favourite, this new wooden kitchen features clicking cooking dials, raised hobs, a sink with turning taps, and a microwave with an opening door. Available exclusively at The Entertainer and selected Tesco stores, it’s one of the latest additions to the retailer’s own Early Learning Centre range, putting imaginative role play at the heart of playtime.

Geoff Sheffield, buying director, The Entertainer, said: “At The Entertainer we live for Christmas, and after months of testing and careful selection, we’re excited to reveal our top 10 toy predictions. Our list brings together some of the biggest names in toys, brand-new launches, and exclusive products that we expect to be high on Christmas lists this year”

“What really stands out about this year’s selection is the variety. From the biggest and best-loved brands to new and exclusive lines, our top 10 showcases the breadth of toys available at The Entertainer.

“We’re seeing huge interest in toys that appeal across generations, from Meccano and LEGO builds that offer hands-on, immersive experiences, to nostalgic favourites and collectables that tap into the growing ‘kidult’ market.
