House of Rum launches a brand new rum called Diablo Spiced

House of RumHaving built a loyal following and attracted multiple awards for its ultra-premium single cask and cask strength sipping rums, independent bottler, House of Rum today unveiled an all-new British distilled spiced rum – Diablo Spiced – made for long drinks and mixing.

With an ABV of 37.5%, the British rum born of sugar cane, distilled on a modern hybrid pot & column still with its own recipe of exotic spices and bold flavours has been designed to set a few souls on fire with gorgeous tones of smooth vanilla, golden caramel, warm cinnamon, zesty orange and rich raisin.

Targeting both the on and off-trade including the wholesale and independent retail sectors, the light bodied and golden tone Diablo Spiced comes in a striking shiny red 50cl bottle with an RRP of £24.99.

“We have listened to our customer base who have asked us for a high-quality rum that they can use for mixing and for a longer drink experience than we offer with our single cask range. For too long, rum has been stuck. Buried under pirate iconography, sweetened into submission or dismissed as something you will only survive with a mixer. We wanted to change that – we tried a limited run of spiced rum recipes four years ago, but have worked on it since then and after a lot of work, now believe we have got the perfect flavour profile and the right look and feel,” said David Howarth, Founder of House of Rum.

Diablo Spiced recommends a series of long drink and cocktail recipes where you can still taste the rum – from using staples like cola, pineapple and ginger ale – to creating spicy mojitos, pina coladas, rum punches, spiced negronis and an old fashioned.  https://diablorum.com/products/diablo-spiced-rum-cola

House of Rum growing portfolio encompasses exclusive, ultra-premium single-vintage, single cask and cask strength rums and includes special bottlings sourced across the Caribbean from Barbados and Jamaica to Trinidad & Tobago and Dominican Republic in addition to distilleries in El Salvador, Mauritius, Guatemala, Panama and Venezuela.

Diablo Spiced will initially be available via Master of Malt, The Rum Company, Amazon, direct from the House of Rum website and shop and will shortly be available in the off-trade including wholesale, independent and online retailers.
