A UK supermarket has announced the launch of its new Rapid Online Delivery service, available to shoppers from Monday 5th October.

Iceland’s new same day rapid delivery will initially be available in 17 London stores from 5th October. A London rollout will follow on Monday 19th October with further expansion expected from 26th October into cities including Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool and the brand aims to include over 200 stores before Christmas.

Whether customers are looking for everyday essentials, last minute grabs or just the convenience of shopping from home, Iceland’s product range will be available at their fingertips via the Iceland app.

Customers can place an order online or through the app, making the experience quick and straightforward. Once the order is placed, deliveries can arrive at the door within 30 minutes of placing the order, offering a fast and convenient alternative to visiting a store in times of need.

To kick off the launch, Iceland is offering free delivery for all orders, giving customers the opportunity to discover the convenience of the new rapid service at no additional cost.

An Iceland spokesperson said: “We understand that food plans can change at the drop of a hat. Whether it’s forgotten essentials for dinner, snacks for the kids packed lunches, or a craving you have to satisfy, shoppers can order with confidence knowing they can get what they need delivered at speed.

“That’s why we’ve launched our Rapid Online Delivery service, offering customers delivery within an hour.”

With savings and Rapid Online Delivery across a wide range of products, there’s convenience for everyone, thanks to Iceland and The Food Warehouse.

Iceland also offers free next day delivery for shoppers nationwide when you spend £40 online.
