Viral Danish juice bar sensation Joe & The Juice has officially landed in Manchester – inspired by local rap star, Aitch. After sliding into the brand’s Instagram DMs to voice his desire for a store in his hometown, Aitch’s wish has been granted, with Manchester now home to its biggest UK location to date.

Opening on Saturday 15th March, the new flagship is located in the heart of Manchester’s bustling retail district at 5 Cross Street. Spanning a huge 2700 sq feet, it’s one of the largest locations worldwide. Designed with the brand’s signature Scandinavian aesthetic, the space features sleek interiors, an open-plan layout, and a buzzing social atmosphere. True to its playful personality, the store also features a hand painted mural symbolising Manchester, ensuring it delivers an experience as bold as the city itself.

Aitch – from Moston, Manchester – has not only put the North West city on the global map with his chart-topping tracks, but he’s also made waves on social media by directly messaging the juice bar on Instagram, urging them to open up shop in his hometown. The Strike A Pose rapper’s love for the brand runs deep, as seen on his socials, where he’s posted with a sandwich in hand and even been seen dancing around his living room with one.

And it looks like Joe & The Juice wants to give Aitch the credit, showcasing the real Instagram DM that inspired the store on a billboard in Manchester. Fans can see the fun exchange celebrated on the billboard, marking the moment that helped spark the opening of the new store.

The launch marks a major milestone for the juice chain, which has seen explosive growth across the UK. With this new Manchester location, the brand now boasts 76 stores nationwide, continuing its rapid expansion since first arriving from Denmark. And this is just the beginning – Manchester is set for five new stores in the next 12 months, with the next one opening at Manchester Airport in July.

Known for its energetic vibe, viral social media presence, and healthy menu of juices, shakes, sandwiches, and coffee, the brand has captured the attention of a generation craving flavour and a fresh, vibrant experience. From its signature Pink Latte to the TikTok-famous Tunacado, it has become a go-to for those seeking a health-conscious yet effortlessly cool place to refuel.

“We’ve seen a huge demand for Joe & The Juice in Manchester, and when Aitch reached out, it was the perfect opportunity to make it happen,” said Lauritz Bolton, managing director UK. “Of all cities in the world, Manchester was the most requested ever – we had countless DMs asking us to open here. Manchester is a city with energy, creativity, and culture at its core – just like us – so it’s the perfect fit for our biggest UK store yet.”

The Manchester flagship continues the chain’s global success story, amassing a loyal following since its founding in Copenhagen in 2002. With locations in major cities worldwide, from New York to London.

The new Manchester store will serve the full menu, with an emphasis on fresh, made-to-order juices, coffee, and sandwiches, alongside the signature high-energy atmosphere that fans love.

Joe & The Juice will open at 5 Cross Street, Manchester from 07:00 on Saturday 15th March.
