Just Love Food Company launches limited edition ‘To Mum’ Confetti Traybake pack for Mother’s Day

Just Love Food Company, the UK’s leading inclusive celebration cake company known for its allergen-free cakes, has transformed its much-loved Confetti Traybake into a Mothers Day gift using a limited edition “To Mum” packaging sleeve. 

The gift sleeve concept is a first for both Just Love and the overall bakery category and the company aims to introduce additional sleeves for key gifting dates throughout the year. The allergen-free cake brand has intentions of growing the celebration cake category by transforming cakes into informal gifts and the new sleeve concept allows them to do this.

Commenting on the limited-edition sleeve, Just Love Brand Manager Danika Woods, says; “The ‘To Mum’ message brings the cake into the informal gifting repertoire, competing with other affordable gifts such as small bouquets of flowers, chocolates and toiletries. We hope this is something children could give to mum using their pocket money to share with them over a cup of tea for a special Mother’s Day moment.  And since our Confetti Tray Bake is nut free, milk free, egg free and vegan, it is inclusive cake that really can be enjoyed by everyone. “ 

Whilst gifting cakes grow online they remain prohibitively expensive for many.  Stocked in both Tesco and Asda and with an RRP of just £6, Just Love’s “To Mum” Confetti Traybake is affordable and widely available, making it a perfect informal gift. 

Just Love was founded by father Mike Woods after his children were diagnosed with life threatening nut allergies.  Mike and his wife found it heart-breaking to see them unable to share the cake at parties and spotting a gap in the market, Just Love launched the UK’s first nut-free celebration cake in 2010 and the UK’s first vegan (nut, milk and egg free) celebration cake in 2019. Just Love is now stocked in major retailers nationwide and provides a range of allergen-free celebration cakes which can be enjoyed by everyone.

The ‘To Mum’ limited edition Confetti Traybake is available in Asda and Tesco stores nationwide now.
