K-beauty, minus the PhD: Superdrug expands its Korean skincare edit

SuperdrugToday, Superdrug is expanding its International Beauty offering with a fresh wave of Korean skincare brands, a refreshed PURESEOUL Edit and the cult favourites customers already know from social.

The expanded skincare edit is designed to make global skincare discovery simple, bringing ingredient-led formulas and playful branding to the high street – because great skin shouldn’t need a PhD. The range is available in over 60 stores and online.

The launch introduces newness from Dr Ceuracle, I’m From, Genabelle and Aromatica, alongside further additions from Dr Reju All and Missha. Cult favourites Beauty of Joseon, Biodance and Medicube remain front and centre as the products customers can’t stop buying.

Superdrug’s original K-beauty bestseller, the PURESEOUL Edit, has also had a refresh – featuring new arrivals, restocked favourites, and an easier way to shop routines by skin concern.

Superdrug research shows strong appetite for a varied International Beauty offer, with four in five customers (80%) wanting to see a wide mix of brands. Once customers find a product they like, 89% say they usually explore more from that brand.

The move forms part of Superdrug’s wider Beauty Playground approach, a more hands-on, energetic and shopper-led way for customers to discover beauty trends. With K-Beauty continuing to drive major social awareness, Superdrug is helping shoppers move from curiosity to confident purchase through an edit that feels accessible, playful and easy to explore.

While K-Beauty is one of the most talked-about beauty movements, the category can still feel complex. Customers face ingredient-led skincare, unfamiliar formats and routine-building terminology that isn’t always easy to decode. Superdrug’s expanded skincare offer is designed to change that. The range has been organised around skin concerns, making it easy to test and learn before buying and placing the products customers are actively searching for front and centre – so discovery feels simpler, guided and more enjoyable.

Megan Potter, trading director at Superdrug, comments: “K-beauty has completely reshaped how people think about their skincare routines, with a considered focus on ingredient-led and results-driven products. Our expanded edit brings together newness, cult icons and the variety of range needed for the step-by-step regimens our customers are searching for.”

The expanded K-beauty skincare edit is available in selected Superdrug stores including Westfield White City, Trafford and Bristol Cribbs Causeway, with plans to roll out to further stores later this year. The full range is shoppable from today on Superdrug.com.
