KeyStore spreads festive cheer to local children’s nurseries

KeyStoreLeading convenience retailer KeyStore has once again encouraged its customers to support their local children’s nurseries by donating Christmas selection boxes.

Cadbury’s parent company Mondelēz has kindly supplied the selection boxes to retailers supporting the nursery in their area with Edith Smyth, owner of KeyStore Lochfield in Paisley, among the first to get involved by handing over the treats to Todholm Nursery.

Edith, who co-owns the store with Avril Cole and is a prolific supporter of local charities and good causes, said: “Todholm Nursery is just along the road from the store and it’s great to see big smiles on little faces at such an exciting time of year for these young children. Many of them come into the store with their parents so we know them and want them to have an amazing Christmas.

“This is a great festive campaign from KeyStore and we’re more than happy to support it – it’s good for business as well as the nursery and kids who receive a selection box, particularly as nurseries to do not receive the same financial support as primary and secondary schools.”

Craig Brown, chief sales and marketing officer at KeyStore fascia owner JW Filshill, said: “We’ve been running our Christmas selection boxes campaign for a few years now and it’s great that even more of our customers are supporting it.

“As Edith explains, it’s another string to a KeyStore retailer’s bow when it comes to supporting local good causes and placing your store at the very heart of your community. Getting behind a campaign like this helps build long-term customer loyalty and reaps rewards for your business in terms of additional sales and footfall.

“We are also grateful to our supplier Mondelēz for once again getting behind this campaign and supplying all the Cadbury’s selection boxes.”
