Kiddylicious, the UK’s leading Baby Finger Foods & Snacks brand (worth over £51m RSV), is expanding its portfolio with the launch of Rice Scoops, bringing greater choice and variety to the baby snacks category.
Designed for toddlers aged 12 months+, the range introduces a unique, extruded format, available in two tasty savoury flavours – Cheesy and Tomato & Basil. Perfectly shaped for little hands, the gluten-free snacks encourage independent self-feeding while giving parents another convenient option from a brand they know and trust.
Rice Scoops can be enjoyed straight out of the pack or paired with dips, bringing a fun, interactive twist to snack time as toddlers scoop and discover new tastes and textures.
Ash Byrne, marketing manager at Kiddylicious, says: “Rice Scoops have been designed with little fingers in mind, to bring interactivity and enjoyment to the weaning and eating journey. Their scoop shape makes them easy for toddlers to hold and dip, helping them build confidence and develop important feeding skills as they explore food independently. With familiar, popular flavours that bring more variety to snack time, they’re a trusted choice for growing appetites and evolving tastes from 12 months and beyond.”
The launch follows a series of successful additions to the Kiddylicious range, including Cookie Squares, Filled Oat Bars and Pouches, as the brand continues to broaden its portfolio providing parents with more choice and variety, and offering incremental opportunities for retailers.
Kiddylicious Pouches are now worth £2.6m RSV, growing +37% year-on-year, Filled Oat Bars have hit £1m RSV, whilst Cookie Squares have grown 17.1% year-on-year to £669k.
Kiddylicious Rice Scoops will be available in Cheesy and Tomato & Basil flavours in 4 x 12g multipacks from Tesco, Morrisons, Boots and Ocado from 10th August (RRP £2.65).
