Kitchen JoyFollowing a successful UK debut earlier this year, Kitchen Joy – the frozen Thai food brand redefining the ready meal category – is now available in Morrisons stores nationwide this October.

Made in Thailand with traditional ingredients, fresh herbs and spices, each Kitchen Joy dish delivers bold, restaurant-quality flavour in just eight minutes. The range offers a convenient, high-quality option for consumers seeking a truly Thai fakeaway at home – ready straight from the freezer.

The move into Morrisons represents a key step in Kitchen Joy’s retail growth strategy, by responding to increasing consumer demand for premium frozen options that deliver both authenticity and affordability.

As the cost-of-living crisis continues to influence spending habits, shoppers are increasingly turning to shop-bought “fakeaways” as an accessible treat. In a first for the frozen category, Kitchen Joy’s range is presented in innovative heat-and-eat style cubes, designed to mimic traditional takeaway packaging and elevate the at-home dining experience.

Kitchen Joy Range:

Thai Fried Krapow Chicken

Crispy fried chicken like you’ve never had it before. Marinated in garlic, oyster sauce and holy basil – a bold Thai herb with spicy, peppery notes and a hint of sweetness – then tossed in a golden, crispy coating. Serve as a side, snack or the star of your plate.

Red Curry Spring Rolls

Inspired by the bold, aromatic flavours of Thai red curry, these golden spring rolls are filled with a vibrant blend of red chilli, galangal, garlic and lemongrass, combined with crunchy vegetables and fragrant herbs. A warming, flavour-packed bite – perfect as a starter, side or snack.

Spicy Sesame Chicken with Noodles

Inspired by the street food of Seoul and Bangkok, this Thai–Korean fusion combines wheat noodles with chicken in a richly spiced sesame, chilli and ginger sauce. Packed with vegetables like carrot and broccoli and made to slurp – this umami-rich fusion has a mild kick of spice to warm up lunch or dinner.

Chicken Panang Curry with Jasmine Rice

Rich and coconutty, with a signature zing of aromatic makrut lime, shallots and galangal. Panang is a slightly sweeter, more indulgent take on the classic Thai red curry. Served with sticky jasmine rice, its blend of coconut and lime makes for a perfectly balanced and deeply satisfying dish.

Thai Red Chicken Curry with Jasmine Rice

With its distinctive red hue from red chillies, this classic coconut curry balances aromatic galangal, garlic and Thai basil. Finished with tender chicken, crisp baby corn, and served on a bed of sticky Thai jasmine rice for an authentic meal in minutes.

Sweet & Sour Chicken with Jasmine Rice

A Thai take on a Chinese classic. Tender chicken cooked in a gently sweet, non-spiced sauce with bamboo shoots, juicy pineapple and baby corn. Served with fragrant sticky jasmine rice, it’s a comforting fusion of cultures, for when you want something familiar with a twist.

Vegetable Pad Thai with Flat Rice Noodles and Tofu

A true Thai favourite. Soft flat rice noodles, crisp vegetables and diced tofu are tossed in a zingy tamarind sauce. With sweet coconut sugar and fragrant shallots, it’s the perfect balance of sweet, tangy and savoury – and suitable for vegetarians.

Kitchen Joy is redefining the ready meal category with authentic Thai dishes made in Thailand, designed for the UK consumer. Each recipe reflects Bangkok’s unique blend of culinary heritage and contemporary foodie culture, capturing the essence of Thailand’s most-loved street food and restaurant flavours.

Produced by CP Foods, Kitchen Joy meals are made with traditional ingredients, fresh herbs and spices, and prepared to deliver bold, vibrant flavours in just eight minutes. The range comes in takeout-inspired packaging to recreate the perfect fakeaway experience – combining convenience, authenticity and taste.

As the appetite for world flavours continues to grow, Kitchen Joy’s expanded range brings a taste of Thailand straight to the UK kitchen – proof that an authentic, flavour-packed fakeaway is only ever eight minutes away.

Kitchen Joy will be available in Morrisons nationwide from mid-October 2025.
