Lidl to trial Click, Reserve & Collect service, allowing Lidl Plus customers chance to reserve a Middle of Lidl product

LidlLidl has today announced it will be trialling a Click, Reserve & Collect service via the Lidl Plus app for the first time ever, giving Lidl Plus customers the opportunity to reserve a much sought after Middle of Lidl product up to two weeks in advance of it arriving in store.

Launching on Monday 7th April, the discounter’s Parkside Robot Lawnmower will be available for shoppers to reserve via Lidl Plus ahead of the item landing in stores on 24thApril. Users of the app will be able to select their preferred store for collection between 16th and 19th April.

On the Click, Reserve & Collect trial, Jassine Ouali, chief customer officer from Lidl GB, said: “We’re always exploring bold new ways to enhance our customers’ shopping experience and are pleased to be in a position where we can bring this latest trial to life.

“We know how popular our Middle of Lidl deals are, and this trial will give our Lidl Plus customers the chance to secure a must-have item before it hits the shelves. We can’t wait to see how our customers respond.”

This latest trial builds on the innovation and success of Lidl Plus since it launched in 2020. The rewards app now has over 100 million users globally – a testament to the value and benefits it offers customers.

The Robot Lawnmower allows lawn-owners up and down the country to sit back and relax while it does the hard mowing for them. Priced at a trim £199 on Lidl Plus, the Parkside product mows over the competition, coming in over £150 cheaper than a comparable version from a well-known tools brand*.

Alongside the lawnmower, shoppers will also be able to secure the Parkside Robot Lawnmower Garage for £24.99*** via Click, Reserve & Collect – a weather-proof docking station to house the lawnmower while it’s not in use.

Lidl Plus customers will have to be quick to reserve their Parkside Robot Lawnmower and Garage, as it is available while stocks last.
