Whaoo!Whaoo!, filled crêpes makers from Norac Foods UK, have surveyed the nation to find out how kids have been inspired to start a new activity after an epic summer of sports.

Polling 1,000 children, the research found that 83% of kids aged six to 12 are feeling inspired to start a new activity after watching the Olympics, Euros & Wimbledon, with 86% keen to get into a new sport. British kids have been the most motivated to take up swimming, football and tennis.

Eight in 10 kids polled said their immediate thoughts after running around are based on what they can eat, with 59% hoping for something sweet according to the OnePoll data.

With 59% of kids hoping for something sweet after running around, it makes sense for parents to have Whaoo! in the cupboard ready for their return home. Its current on-pack promotion, available in grocery until the 8th of September, gives shoppers the chance to win a family holiday or fun sporting prizes for inspired kids.

Bruno de Bourmont, director of Norac Foods UK Ltd, comments: “The research has shown parents are keen to fuel the new interest children have in the sports they have seen this summer. And quite literally, kids are looking to consume something straight after taking part following major exertion.

“They also said they were eager to go for something sweet to give them a much-needed treat to satisfy taste buds, so retailers should ensure shelves are stocked with Whaoo! this summer and beyond.”
