Mamas & Papas has further strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of two experienced senior leaders, welcoming Helen Monks as group brand & marketing director and Jessica Hodgson as chief financial officer.

These appointments come as the nursery and parenting brand builds on its dedication to customer experience, supporting sustainable growth and strengthening its position as one of the UK’s best-loved parenting brands.

Monks joins Mamas & Papas following a successful career within the Regatta Group, where she most recently held the position of brand & marketing director. During her time with the business, she led marketing activity across Regatta, Dare 2b and Regatta Professional, spanning brand strategy, campaigns, digital marketing, retail and product.

Bringing extensive experience across both brand and commercial functions, Monks has built a reputation for creating marketing activity that not only strengthens brands but also delivers tangible business impact.

Speaking about her appointment, Monks said: “Mamas & Papas is a brand people have a real connection with, and I loved the idea of being part of what comes next. I’m looking forward to getting to know the team and helping the brand feel even more relevant to today’s parents. As a mum myself, it’s a world I care about personally too.”

Hodgson joins Mamas & Papas as chief financial officer, bringing a wealth of knowledge amassed in senior leadership roles across complex, multichannel retail and consumer businesses, following 10 years at KPMG working in corporate and project finance. Most recently as retail finance & group data director at Pets at Home, Hodgson has also held senior finance, transformation and commercial leadership roles at Amazon, Morrisons and Asda.

Throughout her career, Hodgson has partnered with executive teams to shape strategy, improve financial, commercial and operational performance, and deliver sustainable growth. She is particularly passionate about using data, technology and insight to build more effective, commercially focused organisations.  Jessica holds an MBA with distinction from Cranfield School of Management and has also supported several charities through trustee positions.

Commenting on the appointments, Sarah Ashby, COO, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Helen and Jessica to Mamas & Papas at such an exciting point in our journey. Both bring exceptional experience, strong leadership and fresh thinking that will strengthen our team as we accelerate our growth ambitions in the UK and internationally. With an exciting 2027 and beyond ahead, their appointments add further strength and capability as we build the next chapter of Mamas & Papas and realise the significant opportunity ahead of us.”
