Mark Hill Hair has signed a new non-exclusive contract with Boots, allowing it to offer its products via other online retailers for the first time in 20 years.
The bright and bold product range will still be sold exclusively in-store with Boots, but customers will soon be able to purchase Mark Hill Hair’s styling tools, accessories, and hair care products from other online retailers.
Expanding to other online outlets, in addition to the British health and beauty high street stalwart, will open up the brand to an even wider audience and grow its share of the at-home hair market. Mark Hill Hair has developed a loyal following of young women and plans to target online retailers which will help to build on this and attract new audiences.
The brand, founded by award-winning hairdresser to celebrities, Mark Hill is best known for its Pick ‘N’ Mix range which enables customers to purchase a customisable, interchangeable curling wand that works with over 20 different attachments.
Leanne Heath, managing director at Mark Hill Hair, said: “Our partnership over the past two decades with Boots has been a huge success, and resulted in us becoming a British hair styling staple. We look forward to continuing to work with them, alongside other online retailers which match our bold brand personality.
“The global hair care market is expected to grow from $99 billion in 2023 to $1147 billion by 2030 and we’re seeing more fashion and consumer electronics brands broadening their product ranges to become a one-stop shop for the entire look, including the hairstyle.
“We have a number of exciting partnerships in the pipeline, and we look forward to sharing further details soon.”
Mark Hill Hair has recently launched a daring out-of-home (OOH) advertising campaign with Love Island’s Chloe Burrows which featured on billboards, buses and ad vans across London and Nottingham. The campaign showcased the brand’s new jumbo waver curling wand and played on the fact that the brand’s styling tools are often mistaken as sex toys.
