Munro Footwear GroupMunro Footwear Group (MFG) has gone live with Fluent Order Management, providing the retailer with advanced inventory management and fulfillment to support over 240 of its stores, digital commerce, and distribution centres.
Implemented in partnership with Amblique, Fluent Order Management will deliver new efficiencies, including a universal view of inventory across all channels and enhanced ship-from-store capability.
MFG is the custodian of some of Australia’s most trusted footwear brands, including household retail brands Williams, Midas, Mathers, and Mountfords and wholesale brands Diana Ferrari, Colorado, Ziera, Bobux, to name a few. Built on a culture of seizing opportunities, MFG is continuously working to deliver unrivalled product ranges and leading omnichannel experiences.
MFG has implemented Fluent Commerce’s Distributed Order Management System as part of the company’s ongoing investment in technology and innovation. This includes the rollout of a new national Point of Sale solution in 2023 and the creation of a state-of-the-art distribution centre in 2022.
MFG will use Fluent Order Management to transform its shipping and inventory management across all brands and channels – enabling online (including marketplace), and endless aisle orders to be fulfilled from a warehouse or any of its stores. Using configurable sourcing rules, MFG can now control order sourcing, enabling them to prioritise fulfillment locations based on metrics such as oldest stock, lowest sell-through rate, or nearest location, maximising efficiency across its supply chain, reducing delivery costs, increasing operational efficiency, and maximising margins. Fluent Order Management will also be used to enhance Click & Collect and offer customer-focused features like stock availability by store, order revisions, and multichannel refunds.
Munro Footwear CEO, Jay Munro, said: “Our investment in this platform is part of our ambitious transformation agenda, which seeks to find efficiencies and enhance the customer experience by drawing on the most innovative technology in the market.”
“Fluent Commerce and Amblique have an excellent reputation for delivering real value to retailers, and we look forward to seeing the benefits this Distributed Order Management System brings,” Munro added.
Amblique CEO, Stephanie Byrne said: “Achieving this go-live with Munro Footwear Group (MFG) marks an exciting milestone in our journey together. Partnering with MFG and Fluent Commerce, we have delivered a robust, innovative solution that enables MFG to provide seamless, customer-focused solutions across all their channels. We are honoured to be part of MFG’s transformation journey alongside Fluent Commerce and look forward to supporting MFG as they continue to set new standards in the retail industry.”
“MFG required a sophisticated platform to support its large network of brands. We believe our Distributed Order Management System will help them to unlock new efficiencies across its entire supply chain and look forward to seeing its impact,” said Graham Jackson, CEO, Fluent Commerce.
Fluent Order Management processes inventory data at an unprecedented scale to provide complete inventory visibility and accuracy. It then helps multi-brand, multi-channel retailers ensure each order is fulfilled in the most profitable way for the business and the most convenient way for the customer. So they can make accurate delivery and pickup promises, and keep them.
