Myprotein launches campaign with former NFL star and Hollywood actor Terry Crews

Myprotein has kicked off 2025 with a bang by teaming up with former NFL star and Hollywood actor Terry Crews to inspire customers to unlock their main character energy.
The new year sees sports nutrition brands push setting New Year’s resolutions that revolve around health and nutrition, whether that be to get fitter, lose some weight, build muscle, or even just make better choices – but Myprotein found that their customers don’t want ‘new year new you’. They don’t want a new version of themselves or to peel themselves reluctantly off the sofa – because they’re already off it. They just want and need new energy.

The campaign (which has been viewed more than 16.9 million times) has been fronted by the iconic muscle-man Terry Crews, made famous from his roles in White Chicks, Brooklyn 99, The Longest Yard, Soul Plane, and The Expendables franchise, as well as his insatiable commitment to his health and fitness. Crews is the perfect person to remind you that there’s no need for a ‘new you’  this January – you’ve been the main character all along.
Commenting on the launch of the campaign, Terry Crews posted on Instagram: “IM SO HYPED FOR THIS CAMPAIGN.”
To support the campaign, there is also up to 70% off almost everything on Myprotein.com throughout January, plus an additional 15% off protein powders.
