Newmark Retail is returning to the TFWA World Exhibition & Conference in October to exhibit a range of brands including Smythson, Paccari, DPT Antwerp and Paul Smith.

Newmark Retail’s London-based strategic travel retail team, formerly known as Harper Dennis Hobbs (HDH), has recently worked with each brand to expand their presence within the travel retail industry, exploring multiple new locations and creating new ranges, which will be showcased at the event.

With over 130 years of experience in British luxury leather goods, Smythson will be a key exhibitor at the trade show. Renowned for its unrivalled craftsmanship and holders of two Royal Warrants and the Positive Luxury Butterfly Mark, the brand will showcase an edit of its classic small leather goods and travel accessories, including pieces from its current ‘Glow’ collection.

At TFWA Cannes, Newmark Retail will have access to Smythson’s entire collection to launch into global travel retail wholesale, as well as four new stand-alone store opportunities to add to their existing stores in Heathrow Terminals 4 and 5.

Paccari, an Ecuadorian-based vegan chocolate company, 100% organic, Fair Trade and free of soy, palm oil, gluten and GMOs, will be launching its new travel range at the show.  Achieving the Fair Trade certification, Paccari is a pioneering company that has proven to transform the communities in which it works with farmers, promotes environmental care, empowers women and practises organic agriculture.

There will be opportunities for visitors to the show to taste the latest collections of Paccari on Newmark’s stand.

Newmark Retail is also supporting Iconic British fashion designer Paul Smith at the event as it looks to expand with new airport and cruise ship locations in the UK and EMEA for its range of signature men’s and women’s leather goods and ready-to-wear clothing.

With a history spanning more than 50 years and with over 130 stores in 60 countries globally, Paul Smith is also seeking opportunities to develop its standalone store portfolio in selected airports to add to its current outlets in Terminals 2, 3 and 5 at Heathrow, and at Copenhagen airport.

Belgian-based contemporary jewellery brand DPT Antwerp (formerly Diamanti Per Tutti) will showcase its collections at TFWA Cannes. DPT recently added 25 new listings on cruise ships, airlines and in airports, including on Royal Caribbean Cruises and Virgin Voyages, with plans for the Abu Dhabi and Mauritius airports.

Simon Black, executive managing director and head of travel retail for Newmark Retail, said: “The tourism industry is on track for a full recovery, which presents a tremendous growth opportunity for premium brands like Smythson, Paccari, Paul Smith and DPT Antwerp. Travel retail can open up new revenue streams and create global visibility for retailers, and TFWA Cannes is the perfect place to showcase offerings to travel industry decision-makers.

“Our London-based travel retail consultancy is returning to this event for the third time, and exhibiting for the first time as Newmark Retail, following our rebrand last year. Many travel retail sector professionals will be familiar with our former name and brand, Harper Dennis Hobbs (HDH), so we’re looking forward to reconnecting with them and making new contacts.”

Newmark Retail’s travel retail team will be exhibiting at the 2023 TFWA conference in Cannes from October 1-5 in Yellow Village, stand H35, which has been recently redesigned by ACA Live. To schedule a meeting, email gemma.aldridge@nmrk.com.
