Lancashire based Oato have built a solid reputation for their delicious, fresh, British made oat drinks. Now, they are extending the range for a limited time, with brand new Fresh Oat Matcha Latte. In a category shakeup, and staying true to the brand, Oato Matcha is fresh meaning less processing and a much cleaner taste.
From July, Oato Matcha Latte will be available exclusively with the Modern Milkman at £2.50. This exclusive partnership means customers across the UK can enjoy this new offering fresh to their doorsteps daily.
The launch is the latest in a run of successes for the rapidly growing business. Already the best-selling fresh oat drink on British milk rounds, Oato is also widely available across Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Waitrose and on Ocado. Sales are growing really well (+34% YoY LfL ROS increase)* proof this is not just a product for the free from category, but one that is a staple in households up and down the country.
Commenting on the launch, founder of Oato, Carl Hopwood, said; “We are so excited about this latest launch, not least because it offers an exciting addition to the range, but also because it is the very essence of what Oato is: creamy, fresh, delicious, and of course British made.”
Oato stands out for many reasons, not least for its sustainability credentials. A British brand that manufactures in the UK using 100% British oats, their carbon footprint and associated carbon miles are among the lowest of any plant-based alternative on sale today. Their bottling site in Lancashire is solar-powered, producing more power than needed annually.
