Leading retailer backs the power of friendship by launching soft toy brand across UK stores

Premium soft toy brand, Mon Ami, is expanding into the UK with a nationwide launch both in-store and online at John Lewis this autumn.

Founded in 2018, Mon Ami creates plush toys, dolls and keepsakes built around themes of friendship and belonging, with over 60 popular characters set to be available in the UK from 13th September 2026.

Blending thoughtful details and sentimental spirit, each character is brought to life with their own distinctive personality that celebrates friendship, individuality and belonging. From Pia Peacock’s tropical elegance and Daphne Dragon’s golden good luck wings to Da Pinchy Lobster’s soft-hearted charm, no two characters are alike – each is designed to become more than a gift, but a memory in the making.

Across its character-led collections, Mon Ami uses storytelling to bring selected designs to life, giving them distinctive personalities and thoughtful details that celebrate friendship, imagination and belonging.

Prices range from £22 to £50, with Colette Duck already unveiled as one of John Lewis’ top ten toys for play time this Christmas.

Sara Fulmer, co-founder and CEO of Mon Ami, confirmed: “Mon Ami is all about friendship. It doesn’t matter who you are or where you’re from, with Mon Ami there’s always a place to belong. From a child’s very first companion to a nostalgic keepsake that stirs memories years later, our creations celebrate the joy of friendship in all its forms.

“Whether they’re given to a newborn or kept by the young at heart, each piece is a gentle reminder of the wonder, comfort and imagination that comes from having a true friend by your side. We’re extremely excited to be launching in John Lewis – one of the biggest, most well-respected retail brands in the UK – and to reach even more customers just in time for the busy Christmas period.”

Mon Ami characters will be available in all 35 John Lewis stores and online at Johnlewis.com from 13th September 2026.
