What inspired you to branch into the athleisure category?

As a brand, we’ve always kept a keen eye on the evolving needs of our customers. Over the past few years, especially after the pandemic, we’ve noticed a significant shift in consumer behaviour, with many opting for more comfortable clothing that still looks stylish. The rise of working from home, casual outings, and the demand for versatile clothing led us to create our first athleisure collection. We wanted to create something that could seamlessly blend into everyday life while offering the comfort that women deserve.

How does Pour Moi’s ethos of body positivity play a role in the athleisure collection?

Body positivity is at the heart of everything we do at Pour Moi. We believe every woman deserves to feel confident and comfortable in her own skin. Our athleisure collection is designed to accommodate a wide range of body types, with each piece crafted to enhance comfort, provide support, and flatter the body. The collection is made to fit every body, ensuring that no matter your shape or size, you’ll feel confident and stylish in our pieces.

What sets Pour Moi’s Off Duty athleisure range apart from others in the market?

What makes our Off Duty range truly unique is the focus on combining style with everyday comfort. We wanted to create pieces that not only look great but also feel amazing to wear all day, whether you’re lounging at home, running errands, or doing light exercise. The fabrics we’ve chosen are ultra-soft and stretchy, offering both support and flexibility, and the designs are versatile enough to transition from casual settings to active ones. Plus, we offer over 20 mix-and-match pieces, making it easy for our customers to create a complete, functional wardrobe.

Can the athleisure range be worn for both active and casual settings?

Absolutely! The beauty of the Off Duty collection is its versatility. Many of our pieces, like the Buttery Soft Moves With You Yoga Bra and High Waist Leggings, are perfect for low-impact activities such as yoga or Pilates. At the same time, items like the Cosy Knit Wrap Cardigan and Softest Off Duty Wide Leg Jogger are ideal for casual outings or lounging. It’s all about comfort and confidence—whether you’re in motion or relaxing.

Can you share more about the creative process behind the designs?

The creative process behind the Off Duty collection was all about listening to our customers. We analysed trends, gathered feedback, and observed shifts in how women wanted to dress in their daily lives. Our design team carefully considered the need for clothing that could transition effortlessly from home to outside, offering both function and style. We wanted pieces that could be mixed and matched, creating a versatile wardrobe that feels luxurious yet practical.

What materials are used in the collection?

We’ve used a combination of 210g Nylon and Spandex, which creates a buttery-soft feel that’s incredibly comfortable and stretchy. This fabric blend allows for maximum flexibility and durability, so each piece moves with you. The material also provides a smooth, flattering fit, which is crucial for both style and comfort.

How do you want women to feel when they wear the new athleisure range?

We want women to feel confident, comfortable, and free. Our goal is to make women feel as good as they look, whether they’re running errands or winding down after a busy day. Each piece is designed to be flattering, supportive, and easy to wear, so women can go about their day feeling effortlessly stylish.

What kind of feedback have you received from customers so far?

The response has been incredibly positive! Customers love the softness and comfort of the fabrics, and many have mentioned how versatile the pieces are. The mix-and-match element has been particularly appreciated, as it makes getting dressed easy yet stylish. We’ve also received a lot of praise for the inclusive sizing and flattering fits, which aligns with our body-positive ethos.

How did Pour Moi ensure the collection would be versatile for different lifestyles?

We made sure the Off Duty collection would be versatile by designing pieces that work for a variety of lifestyles. Whether you’re working from home, running errands, or enjoying some downtime, the collection has something for every occasion. We also focused on creating mix-and-match styles that can be layered or worn alone, ensuring that women can easily create outfits that suit their day-to-day activities.

How does the sizing run in the athleisure range?

The sizing runs true to size, with the collection available in sizes 8-18. We’ve made sure that the designs are flattering for all body types, and the stretchy fabric ensures a comfortable fit. The pieces are designed to fit well and offer support, whether you’re lounging or moving.

What are some standout pieces from the range?

Some of the standout pieces include the Cosy Knit Wrap Cardigan, which is a perfect layering piece for chilly days, and the Buttery Soft Moves With You Yoga Bra, which provides both comfort and support. The High Waist Leggings are another favourite, as they offer a flattering fit that’s perfect for yoga or casual outings. The collection’s flexibility and mix-and-match options are also highlights.

What plans does Pour Moi have for the future, will you be doing further athleisure lines?

We are definitely looking to expand our athleisure offerings in the future. The Off Duty collection has been so well-received, and we’re excited to explore more designs and styles that continue to blend comfort with style. Our customers’ feedback will play a big role in shaping our future collections, and we’ll continue to innovate and introduce new pieces that meet their needs.

Do you have any percentage sales stats or figures on the collection so far?

At the moment, we’ve seen a strong start to the collection, with many of our pieces being best-sellers on pourmoi.co.uk and at our retail partners. While I can’t share specific figures, the positive customer feedback and strong sales have been very encouraging, and we’re excited to see how the collection continues to perform in the coming months. We are looking to expand the range and bring out different silhouettes.
