Roadchef ranked third best big company to work for in the UK

RoadchefRoadchef, one of the UK’s leading motorway service area (MSA) operators, has once again been recognised as an exceptional employer in the latest Best Companies Big Reveal, following its recent achievement of 3-star world-class accreditation for 2025.

The business has retained its position as the number 1 employer in Scotland, reaffirming its dedication to cultivating a positive, supportive, and high-performing workplace culture.

Nationally, Roadchef has continued its impressive rise through the rankings and is now:

  • 2nd Best Leisure and Hospitality Company to Work For in the UK, up from 5th position in 2024

  • 3rd Best Big Company to Work For in the UK, up from 4th position in 2024

This progression builds on years of focused investment in employee wellbeing, personal development, and engagement, all of which contributed to Roadchef’s journey from 1-star status in 2021 to world-class 3-star accreditation in 2025.

Alongside its standout national performance, Roadchef has also strengthened its regional presence. For the first time, the company is now ranked among the Top 10 Employers in the East Midlands, West Midlands, Wales, North West, North East and the South East, a milestone that reflects the depth of engagement and consistency of experience across its 31 sites nationwide.
