Rude Health launches Organic Coconut Barista Drink as coconut sales surge

Rude HealthRude Health is building on strong growth across its coconut portfolio with the launch of an Organic Coconut Barista Drink, bringing together growing demand for coconut and simple ingredients with the booming barista drinks occasion.

The UK’s first organic coconut barista drink, made with real, organic coconut – designed for elevating at-home coffee serves – arrives in Tesco, Waitrose and Amazon from the 7th of October.

The Organic Coconut Barista Drink joins Rude Health’s existing coconut range which is up 17% year on year and includes Organic Coconut and Barista Coconut as well as Chilled Coconut with Calcium, which is up 24% as the flavour rapidly gains popularity. The performance comes as Rude Health continues to grow at pace, with the brand up 16% year on year.

The launch also comes as plant-based barista drinks grow 27.5%, as shoppers increasingly look to recreate premium coffee shop experiences at home. Nearly a third (32%) of Brits say they’re creating more café quality drinks at home and 28% of Brits agree plant-based barista drinks make their coffee feel more premium.

Across the market, coconut drinks have risen 6.6% in value over the past year – outperforming the wider plant-based category and recruiting new shoppers to the fixture. Rude Health is responding to this growing demand with a barista drink designed for consumers looking to create coconut-based café serves at home, without additives, gums or artificial flavourings.

Made with real organic coconut and only natural ingredients, Rude Health’s Organic Coconut Barista Drink delivers a delicate, creamy coconut flavour and a silky, café-quality foam.

The subtle coconut notes make the drink a perfect partner for both coffee and matcha – complementing their natural flavours without overpowering them.

Sam Maguire, UK country manager at Rude Health, said: “We’re seeing fantastic momentum behind coconut, and we’ve always believed great taste starts with delicious, real ingredients. Our new Organic Coconut Barista brings the two together for people looking to create café-quality drinks at home.

“Made with real, organic coconut, it delivers a naturally creamy texture and silky foam, with no gums, additives or flavourings. It’s proof you don’t need a long ingredients list to deliver a brilliant barista experience.”

Rude Health Organic Coconut Barista Drink – 1L, RRP £2.50, available in Tesco, Waitrose and Amazon from 7th October.

A deliciously froth-able and delightfully coco-nutty drink with a natural sweetness. Made with only carefully selected natural ingredients and crafted using real, organic coconut it delivers a clean-label coconut drink with no gums, additives, artificial flavourings or added sugar.

The recipe lets the delicate and creamy coconut notes shine through, creating a silky foam that’s perfect for coffee and matcha without overpowering their natural flavours.
