Scopely, a leading global interactive entertainment and video game company, has announced an exclusive partnership between its blockbuster free-to-play mobile game, MONOPOLY GO!, and Six Nations Rugby, the sport’s most iconic annual event which is celebrated on a global stage. This first-of-its kind partnership combines the charm and playfulness of MONOPOLY GO! with the excitement of rugby, uniting the game’s global player community and rugby fans around the world.
The collaboration – spanning both the men’s and women’s tournaments, starting with the 2025  Championships –  brings the fantastical MONOPOLY GO! universe to life through dynamic digital and in stadium activations. UK players will also have the chance to win the ultimate ‘Tycoon’ experience, including exclusive Six Nations ‘Super Saturday’ fixture tickets, to enjoy the gripping action up-close, while MONOPOLY GO! players across the six nations can join in the fun – and reap coveted rewards – through a rugby-themed in-game tournament.
“MONOPOLY GO!,” which launched in April 2023, cemented its position as the most successful mobile game launch of all time. To date,  players have passed “GO” more than 150 billion times, completed nearly 6 billion boards, and landed in jail more than 20 billion times – underscoring the game’s mass appeal that transcends generations and geographies.
‘We’re thrilled to team up with the Men’s and Women’s Six Nations as their first ever mobile gaming partner, marking MONOPOLY GO!’s debut in European sport sponsorship and bringing its competitive spirit to the pitch,” said Sophie Young, VP Regional Marketing at Scopely. “Rugby’s rich heritage of sportsmanship, resilience and competition mirrors the exhilarating and social experience of MONOPOLY GO! – a game where friends become rivals, landmarks are toppled, and daring bank heists unfold, fuelling the excitement and drive to win. This partnership is a celebration of community, friendly competition and the thrill of the game, on and off the pitch.”
Commenting on the new partnership, Navin Singh, chief commercial and growth officer at Six Nations Rugby, said: “The experience of the Six Nations is unlike anything else in sport, and we are always exploring ways to enhance this experience for fans. As such, the new partnership with MONOPOLY GO! is hugely exciting, as it offers a global community of fans and players of the mobile game a unique and truly interactive way to enjoy the Six Nations beyond the action on the pitch.”
Through this partnership, Six Nations fans and MONOPOLY GO! players can look forward to:
  • Exclusive Prizes: Including an opportunity to win the ultimate ‘Tycoon’ experience via social media, with highly-coveted tickets to a Six Nations ‘Super Saturday’ fixture up for grabs.
  • MONOPOLY GO! x Six Nations In-Game Tournament: MONOPOLY GO! players will have the chance to compete in a Six Nations themed in-game tournament, with an exclusive shield up for grabs.
  • In Stadium Activations: Incorporating MONOPOLY GO! onto the pitch for matches held at Stade de France.
The 2025 Guinness Men’s Six Nations kicks off on the 31st January, running until the 15th March, with the Guinness Women’s Six Nations then starting on the 22nd March.
