Stripe & Stare’s first ever store is now open on London’s King’s Road

Stripe & StareLondon-born, certified B Corp lingerie brand, Stripe & Stare, which has quietly become a cult favourite for comfort-led underwear, is launching its first ever brick-and-mortar retail space on London’s King’s Road this February.

Marking a strategic return to the location where the brand was originally developed, the two-floor space opens on Saturday 14th of February 2026 at 149 King’s Road, Chelsea, and will showcase the brand’s full core offering across lingerie and sleepwear.

Founded in 2017 by Katie Lopes and Nicola Piercy, Stripe & Stare was shaped by more than six years of research and development carried out on King’s Road, with a focus on comfort-led design, fit and fabric innovation.

The opening represents a full-circle moment for the female-founded brand as it continues to grow its direct-to-consumer presence and explore physical retail.

The space will feature Stripe & Stare’s best-selling knickers, thongs and Brazilians, alongside bras and sleepwear, all crafted from responsibly sourced, planet-kind fabrics. Seasonal colourways will sit alongside core styles for everyday wear.

Stripe & Stare has cultivated a devoted following – from Oprah Winfrey to Iris Law and Lila Moss – through underwear designed for all-day comfort without ever compromising on style, establishing the brand as a leading player in the fast-growing comfort-led lingerie category.

Katie Lopes, co-founder of Stripe & Stare, said: “Opening on the King’s Road feels incredibly special. This is where Stripe & Stare was shaped – where we tested, refined and obsessed over what comfort really means for women.

“Bringing the brand back here is a full-circle moment, and we can’t wait to welcome our community into the world behind the underwear. We often wonder why beauty brands are so exciting to shop and no one has injected this same energy to underwear. This is the beginning of our mission to make shopping for underwear fun.”

Beyond retail, the pop-up will act as a brand experience space, offering expert styling advice, co-branded partnerships and a programme of special in-store moments designed to build community and deepen customer engagement.

The King’s Road opening forms part of Stripe & Stare’s broader approach to physical retail, complementing its e-commerce business and reinforcing brand visibility in a key London shopping location.
