TFG London has officially opened the doors to its first tri-brand outlet store at Northern Ireland’s only premier designer outlet, bringing Hobbs, Phase Eight and Whistles together in one destination for the first time.
The three-in-one store opened its 3,851sq ft unit at The Boulevard over the weekend, where it has been designed to keep the personality of each brand clear and distinct, while giving shoppers one place to browse an extensive selection of fashion, footwear and accessories at discounted prices.
This opening adds another major UK fashion name to The Boulevard’s line up, joining household brand names such as kate spade ny, French Connection, Kurt Geiger, GUESS, Dune, M&S Outlet, Vila and Joules.
Located just off the main A1 motorway between Belfast and Dublin, the new store is set to benefit from a strong customer footfall from both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland by choosing The Boulevard for its first-to-market concept.
TFG London first entered the UK market in 2015, with the acquisition of Phase Eight and has since expanded its portfolio to include some of the UK’s most successful premium fashion and lifestyle brands, Whistles, Hobbs, Inside Story and White Stuff.
In the new store, Phase Eight offers a complete wardrobe solution for work, weekends and special occasions, from its iconic dresses through to pieces from its bridal range, while Whistles brings its distinctive yet refined collections with timeless wardrobe foundations designed to suit modern, multi-faceted lifestyles. Hobbs adds its signature affordable luxury with tailored yet feminine everyday styles alongside standout event dressing.
Paul McCann, asset manager at Lotus Property, said: “The Boulevard is home to multiple iconic retailers, many of which are either the first or the only location of said brands, which is a huge testament to the scheme. TFG London opening at The Boulevard is a milestone moment for us and we are delighted to see three major brands now on offer to our customers and we wish them huge success as they begin to trade in Banbridge.”
TFG London said: “Now that we are officially open at The Boulevard, we are excited to welcome both new and existing customers through our doors. We have no doubt that this will be the perfect location for our first tri-brand outlet, with The Boulevard’s continuous success and customer demographic aligning so seamlessly with our target market for Phase Eight, Hobbs, and Whistles.”
The Boulevard is owned by Lotus Property, supported by joint agents Johnstone Property Consultants and KLM Real Estate.
Mark Johnstone, director at Johnstone Property Consultants, said: “There is a clear demand for premium outlet retail on the Island of Ireland, which the growing success of The Boulevard is fuelling. The NI-based outlet continues to attract interest from top brands, with TFG London joining the mix by opening its first new outlet format, further evidencing that The Boulevard is the perfect location to trade and trial new concepts.”
