The Alchemist x TRIP reinvent dry January with mindful serves

The Alchemist x TRIP The Alchemist, known for its theatrical cocktails and boundary-pushing mixology, is partnering with botanical soft-drinks brand TRIP to reinvent Dry January. Instead of hibernation, dodging social plans and lacklustre drinks, the duo is championing moderation and exploration, with a limited-edition menu of fun, mindful, feel-good serves available throughout January at The Alchemist venues nationwide. All about flavour, theatre, and elevated no and low alcohol serves.

Available from the 2nd to 31st January, the menu combines TRIP’s mindful sparkling blends with premium non-alcoholic spirits from Sipsmith, Cleanco, Pentire and Botivo, creating cocktails that feel elevated and unmistakably The Alchemist. Menu highlights include:

  • Calm Tide Orange: A blend of Pentire Coastal Spritz, TRIP Blood Orange & Rosemary Sparkling CBD, Alchemist Sustainable Marmalade, grapefruit, lime and no-gave to create a refreshing coastal-inspired blend

  • Rhubarb Lava: A vibrant, glowing twist on a rhubarb favourite featuring Clean G Rhubarb, TRIP Elderflower & Mint Sparkling CBD, rhubarb, lemon and rhubarb caviar

  • Grapefruit Zen: Sipsmith FreeGlider, TRIP Blood Orange & Rosemary Sparkling Mindful Blend, grapefruit, apricot, grapefruit sherbet foam, finished with a TRIP CBD gummy

  • Ginger Mind Mule: Botivo, TRIP Ginger & Peach Sparkling CBD, lemon, ginger foam and a TRIP magnesium gummy – a mindful, fiery take on a classic mule

The collaboration is a reflection of what modern Dry January has become – less about restriction, more about discovery. Jonathan Prinn-Fraser, head of Bars, says: “We’ve always believed great hospitality is about pushing boundaries, and our collaboration with Waitrose and TRIP is the perfect example of that. Dry January has evolved beyond staying in; people want flavour, function and creativity without compromise. Working with both brands has allowed us to craft a menu that brings all of that to life – exciting taste profiles and theatrical serves for every palate.”

The partnership also includes an activation at Waitrose, where shoppers who purchase a non-alcoholic spirit + TRIP bundle during the month will receive a voucher for a complimentary Dry Jan serve at any of The Alchemist venues, creating a seamless at-home-to-in-bar experience.
