The Brentford Project The Brentford Project, a landmark waterfront regeneration in west London – and joint venture between Ballymore and Penta Real Estate – has confirmed a new wave of impressive retail and leisure openings set to launch across the development in the coming months.

The latest additions include boutique reformer pilates studio tenreformer, Duke of London’s purpose-built multi-use showroom, events and hospitality space, and The Dockhouse Pub. Together, they will introduce a diverse and complementary mix of offers to the heart of Brentford, further strengthening The Brentford Project’s position as a thriving destination for leisure, lifestyle and community. These new openings will join already established occupiers including Gail’s Bakery, Everyman Cinema, Holland & Barrett, Sam’s Waterside, Rottura and Mother Rugger.

This May, Duke of London – the renowned classic and supercar hub – will unveil its highly anticipated, purpose-built showroom, events and hospitality venue at The Brentford Project. Spanning 60,000 sq ft, the destination will feature 35,000 sq ft of internal space alongside 25,000 sq ft of outdoor areas, including a waterfront forecourt, river-facing showroom and a rooftop terrace extending across the full footprint of the building. Set within an industrial, multi-storey waterfront building, the space features multiple trading spaces capable of operating simultaneously throughout the day and into the evening.

The multi-level venue will bring together classic and supercar showrooms with a diverse food and drink offering, including Plonkers Bar, complete with mezzanine level, waterfront seating and an underground cocktail bar; a rooftop bar and BBQ dining concept opening on summer weekends; and a coffee shop with fresh baked goods. A dynamic programme of events will also run alongside the commercial offering.

In May, The Brentford Project will also welcome Brentford’s first premium reformer‑based pilates studio, tenreformer. Founded by the team behind Ten Health & Fitness, the original pioneers of reformer Pilates in the UK, the new studio draws on more than 20 years of expertise to deliver a best‑in‑class experience, with three types of classes, supporting a range of abilities and goals. Marking tenreformer’s second location, following the opening of its Islington studio, the 14‑bed, light‑filled space has been carefully designed to support every stage of the movement journey.

And this summer will see the opening of The Dockhouse by Hall & Woodhouse – a leading independent family brewer and pub company. Representing a £1.8 million investment and spanning 5000 sq ft, the venue will create 30 new jobs for local people. The waterside bar and cafe will trade throughout the day, from breakfast to bedtime, and will occupy a prime riverside position overlooking Workhouse Dock and the River Brent. A standout feature will be its expansive south-facing terrace, designed to create a vibrant social hub for both locals and visitors during the warmer months.

Brian De’ath, managing director sales and marketing at Ballymore, comments: “Our focus has always been on curating a balanced mix of operators that drive footfall and support the long‑term success of The Brentford Project. The addition of tenreformer, Duke of London’s new showroom and The Dockhouse further strengthens the project’s position as an established west London destination and gives people yet more reasons to visit, spend time and keep coming back here.”

Merlin McCormack, rounder of Duke of London, comments: “The Brentford Project has been home to Duke of London for years, so being able to open a new, purpose-built space here feels incredibly special. We’re hugely grateful to Ballymore who have helped make it happen, and we can’t wait to create somewhere the local community can gather, enjoy, and feel part of.”

Franziska Bock, owner of tenreformer Brentford: “After moving to Brentford, I immediately felt at home in the area’s mix of calm canal-side nature and vibrant local community, but I was surprised there wasn’t a reformer Pilates studio within walking distance. It became clear there was a real appetite as so many locals shared the same wish. tenreformer will be more than a local spot for wellness and health, it’s about bringing the vibrant Brentford community closer together. I love the idea of starting the weekend with a reformer class with your bestie, then grabbing a coffee nearby and enjoying the canal in the summer sun.”

Mark James, Property Director at Hall & Woodhouse, said: “We are pleased to be working closely with Ballymore and Penta Real Estate to launch a stunning £1.8 million waterside bar and cafe in the heart of The Brentford Project.

“The Dockhouse will offer all-day hospitality for locals to enjoy in a contemporary setting, with views overlooking the River Brent. The bar and cafe’s considered design caters to every occasion, from brunch, coffee and cake, lunch, through to after-work drinks and dinner.”

By transforming 11.8 acres along the southern half of the town’s High Street, The Brentford Project has reconnected Brentford’s High Street with the waterfront via a series of pedestrianised yards. Alongside 876 new homes, the development now brings an eclectic mix of dining, entertainment, shopping and leisure amenities, and over five acres of landscaping and public realm. It also includes the restoration of Workhouse Dock which has been revitalised and transformed into a new leisure hubs, attracting visitors from West London and beyond.
