The Jolly Hog partners with iconic British condiments

The Jolly HogThe Jolly Hog is set to shake up the UK sausage aisle with the launch of two premium sausages developed in partnership with iconic British condiments, Marmite and Colman’s Mustard.

The range builds on the growing trend of retail brand collaborations, bringing the excitement of co-branded flavour innovation, more commonly in ambient and snacking, into supermarket sausages.

The launch lands at a time whilst the UK sausage category continues to deliver resilience, with data showing sausage volumes rising by 2.9% year on year. At the same time, shoppers are increasingly seeking bold, flavour-led options and are willing to pay more for premium quality. The Jolly Hog’s new sausage collaboration delivers a powerful retail proposition that meets both trends.

By pairing Britain’s beloved condiments brands, Marmite and Colman’s, with high-quality RSPCA Assured British pork, the range reinvents familiar favourites for a new generation. Reflecting the rise of retro-stalgia, both products deliver unmistakably British tastes, designed to captivate younger, flavour-curious shoppers.

Olly Kohn, co-founder of The Jolly Hog, said: “We wanted to bring some real excitement to the sausage aisle by pairing proper British bangers with flavours that people already know and love. Marmite and Colman’s are instantly recognisable, and there’s a strong sense of nostalgia around them. For us, it really is Britain’s greatest pairing. This launch combines banging British flavours with high-quality, outdoor bred pork to create something that feels both familiar and genuinely new for shoppers.”

Melissa Wimble, licensing manager at Unilever, adds: “This partnership has been in development for a number of years, so seeing Marmite and Colman’s sausages heading into stores is a real milestone. So much hard work has gone into this project and we’re thrilled to be launching something so uniquely British with The Jolly Hog.”

The Jolly Hog Colman’s Sausage will be available from the 18th March and The Jolly Hog Marmite Sausage will be available from the week commencing 30th March in Ocado, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, and Waitrose at an RRP of £4.50 per 400g pack.
