Leeds-based payment technology specialist Total Payments has been announced as the official fintech and payment technology partner of national retailer Doors 2 Floors.
The new partnership will see Total Payments provide integrated payment technology to support Doors 2 Floors’ continued growth, helping create a seamless and secure payment experience for customers shopping both online and in-store.
The collaboration brings together two ambitious Yorkshire businesses with a shared focus on innovation, customer experience and growth.
Total Payments will supply smart payment technology designed to work alongside Doors 2 Floors’ newly launched e-commerce platform, helping connect the customer journey across online purchases, showroom transactions and click-and-collect orders.
The partnership will give customers greater flexibility when choosing how to shop — whether ordering online for nationwide delivery, visiting the Doors 2 Floors showroom or collecting their purchase in person.
Doors 2 Floors has become one of the UK’s fastest-growing independent door retailers and recently launched a major new e-commerce platform designed to make buying doors and flooring easier for customers.
The website features enhanced search functionality, WhatsApp support, AI-powered shopping tools and a simplified ordering process, all designed around improving the customer journey.
With Total Payments now supporting the company’s payment technology, that customer-focused experience will continue through to checkout.
Customers will benefit from fast, secure and reliable payment options, while Doors 2 Floors will have technology in place to support its growing online and showroom operations.
Nick Mehat, Director of Total Payments, said: “Doors 2 Floors is a fantastic Yorkshire success story, and we’re delighted to become their official fintech and payment technology partner.
“They are an ambitious, fast-growing business that has invested heavily in creating a first-class experience for its customers, both online and in person.
“Our role is to ensure that the payment experience matches that ambition — providing technology that is secure, simple and seamless, whether a customer is shopping online, visiting the showroom or collecting an order.
“At Total Payments, we’re passionate about helping ambitious businesses grow through smarter payment technology, and this partnership is a great example of two Yorkshire companies working together while delivering a service to customers across the UK.”
The new payment technology will support fast contactless transactions, digital receipts and integration with the retailer’s sales systems, helping create a smoother checkout experience for customers and greater efficiency for staff.
Ismaeel Basar, Managing Director of Doors 2 Floors, said: “Everything we’ve invested in over the past year has been about making life easier for our customers.
“We’ve developed a website that is built around the customer journey, and partnering with Total Payments means that same focus now continues through to the payment experience.
“Whether someone is ordering online for nationwide delivery or visiting our Batley showroom, we want every part of the process to be quick, simple and reliable.
“Having Total Payments as our official fintech partner is an important part of that journey. They understand our ambitions as a growing business and have provided the technology and support to help us continue delivering the experience our customers expect.”
The partnership comes at an exciting time for both businesses.
Doors 2 Floors is continuing its expansion plans across Yorkshire, including further investment in its retail and warehouse operations, while Total Payments continues to support businesses throughout the UK with payment technology and merchant services.
Both companies believe the collaboration reflects a shared commitment to innovation, customer service and supporting ambitious businesses as they grow.
