WaitroseWaitrose is bringing a burst of spring cheer as its seasonal range launches into shops and online with an array of showstopping Mother’s Day gifts and delicious Easter treats. Whether you are hunting for extra special Fairtrade Easter eggs, mouthwatering British roasts, showstopping bakes or vibrant bouquets – there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Eggs, eggs and more eggs…

Waitrose has seen customer demand for Easter eggs start earlier than ever, with searches on Waitrose.com for ‘Easter’ and ‘Easter Eggs’ already up 34% and 68% respectively, over the last month when compared to 2025.

Waitrose is elevating last year’s viral chocolate croissant sensation by leveraging the trending flavour – Almond – to create the brand new No.1 The Blonde Almond Croissant Egg (£15). Following on from the croissant theme – Waitrose has also released new No.1 6 Mini Blonde Chocolate Croissants, made with rich blonde choc and a silky ganache centre, these mini croissants add a little ooh la la to Easter.

Sarah Breadmore, Easter egg product developer at Waitrose, says: “This year we really wanted to offer our customers those egg-stra options that make you go ‘wow’. We’ve leveraged the food trends that we know our customers love, to elevate our seasonal product range for 2026.”

“Our brand new No.1 The Blonde Chocolate Almond Croissant builds on our viral egg from last year, and takes it to a whole new level. Made with luxuriously creamy blonde chocolate and crunchy almond pieces, this egg is then hand decorated with milk chocolate and roasted almond pieces. It is so good, you’re not going to want to share.”

The ruby resurgence

The No.1 Flat Eggs (£12) have also had a glow-up, where tangy cherries and raspberries have been used to create an indulgent, fruity ruby chocolate base – the new No.1 Ruby Chocolate & Berries Flat Egg is just so gorgeous you won’t want to crack it.

Recent search data on Waitrose.com suggest ‘ruby chocolate’ is about to have a resurgence, with demand up 1000% compared to the same time last year

Will Torrent, Senior Development Chef at Waitrose, said: “Ruby chocolate is perfect to use during the spring season, due to its fresh and slightly tart, berry-like taste and striking pink colour. As the home of food lovers, we like to keep our finger on the pulse when it comes to food trends which is why we have added the No. 1 Ruby Fruits Flat Egg to our Easter collection – the future of chocolate is pink!”

There’s a bun for everyone

With searches for ‘Hot cross buns’ and ‘Easter cakes’ up 69% and 230% over the last month on Waitrose.com when compared to 2025, Waitrose customers already have cravings for seasonal bakery treats.

Pick from delights including the new and artisanal No.1 2 Berry Blush Hot Cross Buns (£2.50), irresistible 4 Milk Chocolate & Fudge Hot Cross Buns (£2) or regeneratively grown 4 Leckford Hot Cross Buns (£2.50) – which are made from wheat grown on the Waitrose farm, in Leckford. They’re all bursting with fruits and flavour, just waiting for you to give them a toast.

Abby Catmull, seasonal bakery product developer at Waitrose, says: “This year we are proud to launch a Hot Cross Bun made with regenerative wheat that is grown on our own farm on the Leckford Estate. Packed with sultanas and cranberries, plus a scattering of sunflower and pumpkin seeds, these buns are fantastic toasted, spread with salted butter and drizzled with our Leckford Honey.”

Buttery Bakes

Tuck into a selection of cakes, bakes, and bites that are inspired by spring flavours, including Mini Daisy Cakes in the No.1 Spring Afternoon Tea Selection (£7.50) and Buttercream Bunny Mini Cupcakes (£5) for that perfect afternoon break. The showstopping No.1 Millionaire’s Panettone Egg (£12) is one in a million. Rippled with caramel sauce and dark choc, and speckled with white and blonde choc, it’s made for tearing (and devouring to the last crumb). Crafted in Italy, it takes over 40 hours to produce and has used the same mother dough since 1964 to give it that ooh-so light and fluffy texture.

The roast of all roasts

Nothing says ‘spring’ like a Sunday Roast with all the sides and trimmings. Choose from classic joints of either Beef or Lamb, knowing that it’s always British and higher welfare at Waitrose.

Customers can pick from pre-packed joints or can choose the right cut for them from the Waitrose meat counter, where a Waitrose Specialist will be able to assist with recipe inspiration and cooking times. Just don’t forget to leave space for dessert… because this year Waitrose has two showstopping options. Indulge in the irresistible No.1 Salted Caramel Brownie Basque Cheesecake (£7.50) or opt for the velvety smooth No.1 Chocolate & Pistachio Torte (£14), inspired by the flavours of the viral Dubai chocolate bar.

Bright Blooms

Add a burst of spring colour into the home with our beautiful range of flowers for Easter and Mother’s Day. Whether these beautiful bouquets are a gift or just a little treat for yourself, we have a gorgeous seasonal selection perfect for all occasions. With every purchase of a bouquet featuring Waitrose Foundation Flowers this spring, Waitrose is supporting flower farmers, workers and the communities they live in.

Chris Wood, head florist at Waitrose, said: “Spring has to be one of my favourite seasons of the year, there are so many lovely flowers in full bloom. Arrangements this year showcase beautiful vibrant yellows, pinks, and pastels which brighten up our customers’ homes.”

“Our Easter Spring Abundance bouquet is perfect for the celebrations including vibrant seasonal Anemones and Ranunculus in bright floral tones of cerise, blue and pink, these bouquets will be the centrepiece of any spring setting.”

Waitrose reinvest 2% of sales from Waitrose Foundation Flowers to improve the livelihoods of farmers, workers and their communities. So far, flower farm workers have benefitted from microloans, enabling investment in income-generating activities and school fees for children, school facilities, energy efficient cooking equipment and supporting alternative income enterprises such as poultry rearing and beekeeping.
