ZOEVA, a leading premium makeup brush and cosmetics brand, and eCommerce fulfilment provider Huboo, are celebrating six months of partnership, which has helped drive a remarkable 1000% UK growth in sales for the beauty brand.

The partnership, leveraging Huboo’s innovative hub-based fulfilment model, has streamlined ZOEVA’s operations, ensuring faster and more reliable delivery of high-quality products to customers nationwide. Since the collaboration began in December 2023, ZOEVA has experienced a staggering 54% uplift in their UK business’ customer satisfaction, a testament to the partnership’s success.

Founded in 2008 by Zoe and Barbara Boikou, ZOEVA has grown from selling makeup brushes from their home to becoming Germany’s number one premium brush brand, with a robust presence in the UK and across Europe. Known for its vegan and high-quality brush sets, eyeliner, and lip products, ZOEVA has seen significant direct-to-consumer (D2C) growth, driven by influencer partnerships and social media engagement. To date ZOEVA has sold over 30 million brushes worldwide.

According to a recent report by Statista, the beauty market has a projected value of $758.4 billion by 2025, with eCommerce playing a crucial role in this expansion. ZOEVA’s strategic focus on D2C channels aligns with this trend, positioning the brand for continued success.

Since the launch of the partnership, Huboo’s fulfilment services have significantly improved ZOEVA’s dispatch times. The average dispatch time is now just four hours, more than halving the time since the partnership began. This efficiency has significantly enhanced customer satisfaction, reflected in ZOEVA’s improved Trustpilot rating from 2.8 to 4.3. Huboo’s ability to handle the complexities of logistics allows ZOEVA to maintain its high standards of quality and service.

Zoe Boikou, founder of ZOEVA, commented: “Our partnership with Huboo has allowed us to focus on our core business of creating premium beauty products while ensuring our customers receive their orders quickly and efficiently. Huboo’s expertise in logistics has been a game-changer for us, especially as we expand our D2C channels and prepare for high-demand periods.

“We are big fans of simplicity, and Huboo has been the perfect partner for us. This relationship makes ZOEVA’s life simpler, as Huboo handles the technical integration with Shopify, ensuring we don’t have to worry about it.”

Paul Dodd, co-founder and Chief Innovation Officer at Huboo, added: “We are delighted to partner with ZOEVA and support their impressive growth trajectory in the beauty sector. Our role is to remove logistical challenges, allowing ZOEVA to continue focusing on innovation and customer engagement. This collaboration exemplifies how our human-centric fulfilment model can drive significant improvements in efficiency and customer satisfaction.”

Looking ahead, ZOEVA plans to further localise its operations in key markets and expand its product line. Huboo will play a critical role in this expansion, providing the necessary logistical support to ensure seamless operations across multiple channels.

“This partnership cements our vision of providing D2C brands with the tools and support they need to scale across Europe,” said Paul Dodd. “We look forward to continuing our journey with ZOEVA and helping them achieve their growth aspirations.”
