100% natural, gut-friendly pet food brand Scrumbles – #12 in the Sunday Times Top 100 Fastest Growing Businesses – expands its por;olio with a new wet cat food launch, expanding the brand from a pate texture to launch more popular and scrump>ous recipes.

Having turned down a £60k investment for 20% of the business from Deborah Meadon on Dragons Den in 2019, they recently sold that same portion of the business to investors BGF for £6m to help fund its next stage of growth, and this new wet cat food launch is just the first in a list of new ventures and launches for the fast growing brand.

Founder and CEO Aneisha Soobroyen said: “Our cat customers have been crying out for us to expend into new wet cat textures for some time but we wanted to go a step further so we have over-hauled our entire range to launch in a new fully recyclable, easy-to-use >n format in threescrumptious textures: keeping our much loved pate but also introducing a new delicious jelly chunk recipes alongside a premium, indulgent shreds in broth recipe”.

The new wet cat range is available in single serve portions in the Jelly Chicken, Jelly Turkey, Jelly Salmon and Pate Chicken 80g recipes, or in multipack (x12 80g tins) options: Classic Jelly Selection (Tuna, Salmon, Turkey, Chicken); Meaty Jelly Selection (Chicken, Duck, Turkey); Classic Pate Selection (Tuna, Salmon, Turkey, Chicken); Chicken Shredded in Broth Multipack; and, Chicken Jelly Multipack.

In keeping with their gut health focus, each recipe is 100% natural and packed with added probiotics offering a puur-fect solution for even the fussiest and most sensitive of kitties. You can find a selection of the range across Sainsbury’s, Pets at Home and Tesco nationwide from 4th August, and is set to roll out to more retailers and scrumbles.co.uk later this year.
