Ahead of the Easter break, McDonald’s is thrilled to launch a £1.99 Happy Meal® offer, available from this Thursday 28th March until Sunday 14th April via the McDonald’s App*. The 40% reduction in the average price of the Happy Meal is sure to bring smiles to the faces of families across the country this Easter.

The offer comes as McDonald’s announces its FIRST EVER UK Happy Meal® partnership with the classic multi-player card game Uno™, featuring an all-star line-up of characters from iconic DreamWorks Animation© franchises.

Arriving at all McDonald’s restaurants nationwide just in time for the Easter holidays (from 27th March until 7th May), customers will experience endless family fun wherever they are – whether that’s at home, away on holiday or even on a long car journey!

The classic multi-player card game Uno™ provides endless fun for both parents and children alike, with each family member competing to be the first player to get rid of all their cards bar one, and shout UNO™!

There are six Uno™ card packs available, including the iconic classic Uno™ card pack and five card packs with designs featuring well-known DreamWorks film characters from Shrek, How to Train Your Dragon, Madagascar, Trolls and Megamind.

From colour matching cards to exciting wildcards, the iconic DreamWorks characters bring bursts of nostalgia for parents and waves of excitement for little ones. Each DreamWorks character encourages families to be bold, fearless, explore their individuality – and most importantly, have fun!

Families looking for a book instead of a toy can opt for one of two Little People Big Dreams books – I Can Be an Astronaut or a I Can Be a Brave Adventurer.

And if that’s not enough, families can also visit the McDonald’s Family Hub for more fun activities!

Available for around £3.49 – or £1.99 through the McDonald’s app for the next fortnight – a Happy Meal® contains a choice of Fish Fingers, Chicken McNuggets or Veggie Dippers with an Apple and Grape bag or Carrot Bag side, plus drink options including water, milk, or Fruit Shoot.
