The new mushroom-enhanced drink, Zooz, is launching an innovative programme to support and celebrate the creativity of young and emerging artists as part of a programme to build a community of engaged, creative and mindful enthusiasts. Zooz launched in September 2024 and the brand owner is already planning to roll out additional expressions to meet particular health and lifestyle needs.
Zooz Elevate, the new name for the original drink, is committed to helping people make good choices. Given the brand’s stated aim to contribute to wellbeing, the arts project is a logical step.
Zooz Elevate will select 5 young and emerging artists working in the medium of painting and 5 musicians and invite them to the Zooz studio for a day each. Those artists whose work encapsulates the brand, will be invited to work with Zooz as creative ambassadors and have the opportunity to exhibit or perform in the West End of London. The resulting works will also be showcased by the brand on social media and its website.
Asked about the reasons for the initiative, founder and CEO, Daniel Soos, said: “Ours is a pioneering mushroom-based soft drink for adults. It’s good for you, low in calories and tastes deliciously sophisticated, with its Italian-style zesty citrus notes. Importantly, the combination of ingredients elevates health and consciousness because of the Lion’s Mane Mushrooms, Cordyceps Mushrooms and Ginseng.
“This arts project is the kind of initiative only an established brand might be expected to launch. But from the get-go, I wanted to stand alongside those who are pushing the boundaries; being creative; and expanding horizons. We want to help support and elevate creative thinking amongst artists. The artists will be invited to create paintings that visualise the future and we want to grow with these artists as they develop because they are the visionaries of the future.”
Daniel Soos is a former personal trainer who believes his invention will also push boundaries by launching a new category of soft drink for adults who are mindful want to, ‘choose good’, to cite the brand’s slogan.
